| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Nov 1, 2007 The 12 ounce bottle poured a clear medium dark reddish amber beverage with a modest sized frothy off-white head that was mostly diminishing and left some good lacing on the glass. The aroma was consistent with a good Oktoberfest with good notes of toffee, caramel bread and a hint of floral hops. The body was medium-light with average carbonation and a watery texture. The flavor started out just barely sweet and stayed that way through the medium length finish which was slightly on the dry side. jobyone (234), Charlotte, USA

| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Oct 29, 2007 Bottled 9/18/07. Clear copper color with fluffy tannish head. Mostly standard Oktoberfest stuff, caramel-toffee and toasted nuts. I thought this was a bit sweeter than others, although there’s some hops and dryness at the end. Still, the aftertase wasn’t as clean as I’d liked. The body is nice, with soft, fine bubbles.
