Commercial Description:
This beer is available each autumn in celebration of the great Bavarian festival season. Brewed in late spring and cellared throughout the summer, our Oktoberfest is produced through traditional methods as it has been for centuries in Germany, This copper-hued lager owes its rich malt flavor to a generous combination of select Vienna and Munich malts. Cool, open-fermentation develops a subtle elegance and drinkability suited to any festive occasion.

Poured medium amber, forms an off white head. Aroma is of carameled malts, perhaps toffee and cream. Flavor was of a typical Marzen beer. Malts, spices, caramel, with a slight biscuity ending. Eh, pretty good beer, not my personal fave style, but considering the season it was clean and refreshing.

Aroma – Rich deep malt aroma with some spice
Appearance – Amber in color, clear as can be with a nice head.
Flavor – Had a deep rich malt flavor with some spices. The hops where also present but light
Palate – A good feel in the mouth with a great flavor at the end
Overall –This was a great beer and easy to drink. Had some great flavors. I will recommend to my friends.

typical octoberfest beer. Malty, easy drinking and good with bbq. nothing offensive about this one, but doesn’t have the malt depth of some others.

Pours hazy orange with a medium tan head. Nose is creamy malts and faint grassy hops, oregano. Nice, sweet nutty malt backbone quickly changes to an interesting spicy and yeasty middle, with grassy hops notes. Slight caramel/toffee aftertaste. Rather bitter for a Marzen. Creamy mouthfeel. Pretty good.

Draught at Cap Ale House. Nice looking reddish orange amber color. Off white head. Aroma is malty, grainy. Caramel and toastd malt flavor with light spice character. Standard malty marzen with a slight grainy taste.

Pours a rich, clear, dark honey-brown with a thin but somewhat persistent head. Aroma is strong, malty and spicy - I got hints of cloves and cinnamon - with a touch of hops. Flavor is rich, mouth-filling, mainly malty, with spicy undertones. Smooth and very pleasing, this is an excellent autumn beer.

Digging this style right now. It really fits the cooling weather and mood’s I’ve been in lately. Mossy malty aroma. Clear amber color with little to no head. Slightly sweet with that candy sugar and caramel flavor. Slight hop bitterness. Thin but interesting enough for me to enjoy.
