Commercial Description:
This beer is available each autumn in celebration of the great Bavarian festival season. Brewed in late spring and cellared throughout the summer, our Oktoberfest is produced through traditional methods as it has been for centuries in Germany, This copper-hued lager owes its rich malt flavor to a generous combination of select Vienna and Munich malts. Cool, open-fermentation develops a subtle elegance and drinkability suited to any festive occasion.

12 oz. bottle from Plaza Liquors - Pours a crystal clear copper color with a large two finger thick off white head. Light, fined bubbled carbonation. Thick lacing. Has a bready malt and herbal hop aroma. Flavor is lightly sweetened toasted malt with a touch of hops. A smooth, medium bodied beer. One of the better Oktoberfest/Märzen I’ve had this year.

Bottle...my first Left Hand sampling, this one is big malt with the bitterness you’d expect from an Oktoberfest. Breakfast-cereal-like aftertaste predominates. Average carbonation, nice color.

Not very good. I’ve grown to love this style this season, but this is one of the weakest of the bunch. Aroma is good..caramel and malt. Pour was as nice as any O/M. Light brown with a nice 1 finger white head. Taste was another story. A little too caramelly. There is a stickiness that overpowers the beer with the caramel and not much to balance it.

Pours a beautiful copper color w/ a medium sized froth. Hangtime is good leaving a partial canopy and a thin ring of lace. Aromas of sweet malts w/ a slight herbal essence. Medium nectar w/ lazy residual effers. Flavors are malty sweet w/ a defined yet mild herbal character. Slightly brisk w/ caramel. The finish is bittered only mildly. Overall: after a full five point inspection I have to say this brew smells and tastes like sweet malted chipotle peppers. Different!

The appearance is a nice medium/dark amber color. Very nice aroma. Nice malty smell to it. And the taste is very smooth and has great drinkability to it. Little malty, but good.

Pours a translucent deep amber with an average off white creamy/foamy head that left some lacing. Aroma of sweet grainy malts, some toffee, nuts, some toasted malts. Flavor of toasted malts, nuts, some toffee and a bit of earthiness.
