Commercial Description:
This beer is available each autumn in celebration of the great Bavarian festival season. Brewed in late spring and cellared throughout the summer, our Oktoberfest is produced through traditional methods as it has been for centuries in Germany, This copper-hued lager owes its rich malt flavor to a generous combination of select Vienna and Munich malts. Cool, open-fermentation develops a subtle elegance and drinkability suited to any festive occasion.

Draft. Pours clear amber with a thin head. Aroma is malty and sweet but without much spices. Flavors are mainly caramel. I thought the beer was a little thin and just not that exciting.

Draft. Dark red brown, medium tan head. Aroma sweet fruits and alcohol. Flavor is berry fruit, sweet malty and specifically a lot of cherry. Finishes medium length and wet with light very light bitterness.

Draught. Pours a darky brown with a mild head. Pretty average Oktoberfest for my money.

Fresh bottle. Pours a clear, dark, brassy amber hue with a small, fading, off-white head. Minimal, spotty lacing marks the glass. The aroma is malty and sweet, showing notes of caramelized sugar, marshmallow, and toast. Light floral and grassy hops lend a touch of balancing bitterness. Flavors are largely the same, sweet caramel and malted, bready toast countered with peppery, grassy hops. Medium bodied and somewhat sugary, the palate falls on the sweet, sticky side, yet remains drinkable. Pretty decent festbier, but nothing special.

Amber orange color, light lacing & not much head. Very Mild aroma of vanilla & spice. Mild creaminess, with a bit of an arid, wheat profile. Light to medium body, thin, slightly creamy mouhfeel with above averate carbonation. Sufficient finish, but not notable.

On tap at flying saucer. Pours a clear copper with a thick creamy off white head with good sticky lacing along the glass. The aroma is a sweet malt with toast and light caramel. Medium mouthfeel with a bready malt with spicy grain and a nice bitter dry finish. Easy to drink, a very good marzen from left hand.

Bottle sample. Clear amber pour with a medium tan head. Sweet malt aroma with banana and sugar. Sweet malt flavor up front with caramel, apple and a tad bit of hop in the finish. A bit too sweet overall, but otherwise not bad.

Bottle. Pours copper amber in color with an offwhite head. Aroma is toasty, bready, and very floral. This beer has a sweet malty note to the flavor which is offset beautifully by a crisp hoppy bite. It has a medium body, is relatively easy drinking, and had a clean smoth finish.
