Commercial Description:
This beer is available each autumn in celebration of the great Bavarian festival season. Brewed in late spring and cellared throughout the summer, our Oktoberfest is produced through traditional methods as it has been for centuries in Germany, This copper-hued lager owes its rich malt flavor to a generous combination of select Vienna and Munich malts. Cool, open-fermentation develops a subtle elegance and drinkability suited to any festive occasion.

12oz bottle from Lukas Liquor. Pours clear copper with off white head. Aroma is caramel and some sweet malt. Flavor is caramel, malt, light sweetness, and a bit of a metallic note. An easy drinking octoberfest.

Amber pour with a light tan head. Aroma was of caramel, malt, and sweetness. It had a crisp taste to it- light caramel and semi-sweet.

Pours a deep orange with a thick medium head and a nice lace. The aroma is malty and somewhat fruity, but there is this stinky odd aroma almost in a dog’s breath kind of way. The flavor has a nice fruity maltiness, some roasted nuts, some saltiness, and a nice ting of hoppiness. I swear this is usually better; did I get an off bottle?

Bottle. Pours a coppery amber with a thin head of dense foam. Aromas are a nice mix of earthy and sweet malts. Caramel, nuts, wet leaves... Flavor is a watery mix of caramel and nuts and seems to need a little more oomph. That said, it is fairly crisp for the style.

Pours amber with a thin off white head. Aroma is caramel. Flavor is also a whole lot of caramel, with hints of toffee and a some metallic hints. Not bad.

Malty and rather doughy. Light caramel, and toast. A decent brew but can’t say I love it.

Pours a clear pale amber with a full yellow-white head. Bready aroma, but other than that not much to smell. Sweet roasted malt flavor, but once again, not much of it. Some hops evident. Well balanced, but a little on the weak side.
