| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Sep 25, 2007 Smells grassy and slightly hoppy. Pours a mildly hazy straw yellow with a fair amount of head. Taste is crisp and slightly sour. Leaves a sourish feeling in your mouth. Not bad for a pilsner. TheBeerOrg (1585), Kentucky, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Sep 17, 2007 Pours golden with an effervescent body and mostly receding off-white head. Aroma of Saaz, slightly stinky, cheesy hop notes, with other notes of grass and hay. Taste is herbal, grainy, with notes of honey malt and hay. Mouthfeel is light bodied, lightly resinous with lively carbonation. nearbeer (1858), Knoxville, Tennessee, USA

Aroma is mostly honey-tinged cereal. Flavor is pretty well balanced, but seems to have more of that Saaz hop zing than most. I am just not a big fan of this style, but this one is definitely a good example of the style. Tmoney99 (4777), Cincinnati, Ohio, USA
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Sep 11, 2007 Bottle from Party Source. Poured clear amber color with a moderate frothy white head that mostly lasted with fair lacing. Moderate grassy aroma. Medium body. Medium bitter flavor with a medium bitter finish of moderate duration. Drinkable brew. Gregis (1134), Shawnee, Kansas, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Sep 4, 2007 12 oz bottle poured into a pilsner. Pours a clear light gold with a large frothy and loose white head. Nice lacing. Bready pilsner malts and grassy hops on the nose, along with a faint note of earthy mustiness. Light bodied and thin with a dry, crisp and slightly metallic finish. The flavor is of biscuity malts and grassy hops that linger for just a second following an otherwise crisp, dry conclusion. Not a bad pilsner; actually leaning toward the hop side of the equation. I’d like to taste a bit more of the pilsner malts, but this beer certainly fills the bill if you want a crisp, clean thirst quencher. This would be a decent gateway beer for Miller drinkers. | 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Sep 1, 2007 Unremarkable brew. Light hops and corn dominate both the aroma and the flavor. Appearance was typical for a pilsener. Would write more, but it wouldn’t serve a purpose coldbrewky (736), Saugerties, New York, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Aug 16, 2007 Out of the sampler box of four I felt that this was the strongest example that is "on style". Maybe it was my recent trip to the Czech republic and all the tasty Bohemian Pilsners I tasted there but this was spot on for an American pilsner. This critter was quite nice as a drinkin with your neighbor brew. Hopiness is just a skoash above the norm for a pilsner of perfection but the limited lenght body needed someth On another note I was a bit disturbed that out of the "12 pack sampler" there were only two of these and six sawtooth ales. Do the math, its not hard. 6 of those and two of each of the other three. Dropping a line to LH on that one.
