Well, it is dry like a German Pils. Aroma of grass and light malt with some tart fruit notes but not very pronounced. Mild crisp flavor of straw and cereal malt.

Look is very cloudy and pale, golden-yellow with hues of apple green. Head is soapy white and short-lived. Aroma is dry, coriander seed, cotton and a little green apple. Taste is a full-palate pilsner, with excellent fruit malt: apple, orange. Lemon hops, add tartness to the otherwise sweet palate. Really good pils, only thing it could probably use more of is bread/dough in the aftertaste. Otherwise, this is a very good tasting pilsner (notice the 76% style). Bought 12 oz bottle at World Market in Vienna, VA.

Draft. Not much aroma or flavor, but a good palate. It was disappointing and should have had more flavor. Probably not bad to augment food.

Poured a pretty clear yellow; not much headed. Very little aroma or flavor; but a good mouthfeel. Some light bread and malt presence, but didnt detect much hops. Tasted like a good tasting glass of water.

Bottle poured a clear golden yellow with a min imal white head. Aromas of straw and light citrus. Palate was light bodied and crisp. Flavors of straw, bread and spicy hops with a crisp dry bitter finish.

Bottle: Pale yellow, slight haze, large foamy white head, vibrant, fairly clingy lacing, light carbonation.   Soft grassy nose, pale malts, a bit of straw.   Crisp grassy flavor, light sweetness, even a bit sticky.   Fairly clean, very slight grain astrigency at the finish but its very quick.   Body and mouthfeel are moderate.   Soft musty grassiness lingers.   Pretty damn enjoyable for a Pilsner!

27-Feb-07 12oz bottle Familiar, pleasant appearance with this pale, clear, straw colored beer with streaming eff supporting a medium sized, lasting white head. Clumps of lace. Mild cereal aromas, slightly toasty, hay bale, wet cut oats. Inviting, reminds of Bitburger right away. Medium bodied, creamy eff, mildly dry finish. Lacking in the end; not sufficiently dry or final. Flavors in keeping with aromas, soft but sweet grains, not seemingly oxidized, not particularly hoppy at any point. About a notch below a generic brewpub pils, which is nothing to write home about.

I thought it was more Czech than German in character. Crisp and clean with considerable hops presence. Aroma has some corn, but it works. Refreshing. Clear gold color and a substantial white head.
