A nose that reveals a bit of nuttiness, smooth across the tongue and nicely carbonated, but with a damped down flavor. If you’re going to drink it, complement it with something salty, like pizza. troyc (1175), Lubbock, Texas, USA

Hoppy, with a crisp and dry aftertaste. Some malty notes as well. Seemed a little over-carbonated. Comparable to some pilsners that I’ve had in Germany. I would drink this beer again. Medium head, which quickly decipated. Smells Piney. Medium mouthfeel, whjich was quite crisp and smooth. Too bitter for me as i couldn’t stop smacking my lips. ehhhh henry3r (586), Wichita, Kansas, USA
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Sep 19, 2006 The 12 ounce bottle poured a sparklingly clear golden colored beverage with a small fizzy head that was mostly diminishing and left only a little lacing on the glass. The aroma was not what I was expecting. There were earthy malt tones accompanied by a hint of licorice and floral hops. The body was medium-light with lively carbonation and a thin, watery texture. The flavor starts off lightly bitter and stays that way through the medium length finish. Darkover (1314), Columbus, Ohio, USA
