It was nice to have a break from drinking bigger beers to try this and it still had enough flavor to stand up and cut through. Has a nice honey nose, like a fresh biscuit covered in honey from KFC, that it what the nose reminds me of. I love the hop profile, lightly spicy, with some herbal grassy hint all the way through, that was refreshing, and kind of wakes your senses up. Well done! jpm30 (1588), East Central, Georgia, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jul 2, 2006 From a 12 oz. long neck brown bottle with bottled on date along lower right side of label, 02/01/06.
Made a good appearance, poured a clear pale yellowish golden with a foamy white head that settled into a thin soapy lacing, good carbonation.
Had a sweet pilsener malty nose with a light spicy, floral and grassy hoppiness.
A crisp and smooth lightish medium bodied mouthfeel, above average drinkability.
Sweet pilsener malts with a spicy, grassy hoppiness, the bitterness is brisk and fleeting, and a dry malt and spicy finish.
A decent pilsener from Left Hand, very quaffable.

| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jun 12, 2006 Bottled. Fizzy off-white head on a deep golden hazy body. Is this unfiltered? Probably bad form for the style but I like it anyhow. Suprisingly nice lacing. In the aroma I smelled something that isn’t present in your average American-made pilsner...BEER! Actually noticing hops in the flavor and aroma was pleasant. FlacoAlto (2482), Tucson, Arizona, USA

Accidentally slightly frozen, a bit of beer slush never hurt no one though. Pours a brilliantly clear (definitely no chill haze here), bright gold color. It is topped by an initially four-finger thick, frothy, pale tan colored head. The aroma has a nice light spiciness to it as well as a light toasted grain note to it towards the end. The aroma is just about perfect for a Pilsner, a nice spicy, noble hop note with a touch of balancing malt character.
The beer is of course initially quite cold. It adds to the refreshing character, which is welcome on this 100+ day, but it drowns out the flavor a bit. A touch of toasted malt character and a hint of grain sweetness round out what is otherwise a nice hoppy Pilsner. Lightly spicy, with a smooth herbal hop character and a nice, sharp bitterness in the finish. As the beer warms up a bit the malt character becomes a bit rounder, it adds a bit to the body of the brew and helps to mix with, and balance the bitterness in the finish. This is a nice Pilsner, in fact it is perfect for a hot day, as it is fairly light on the palate. It could perhaps use a bit more malt and hop character, but like I said it is nice and refreshing as is.

The froth is spattered and a briliant arctic white. Crisp malt aroma. Light nectar with ample residual effers. Light, bright, clean, crisp with a mellowness. A slight asprin numbing on the finish. Overall: a good brew to enjoy on a warm day regardless of whether or not she’s wearing a thong. RichJ7 (1175), Cullman, Alabama, USA
| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | May 3, 2006 Not bad, I guess. Never been a huge pilsner fan, but it beats the hell out of your average macro. As a craft beer, though, it’s just below middle of the road. Pours a clear gold in color with an inch-thick white head. Aroma of slightly sour malt, some hops. Flavor is much the same: mildly sweet with a subtle hop bitterness. Fairly well balanced, velvety slick mouthfeel. Great lacing. Overall decent beer.
