| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Feb 10, 2008 Pours a clear iced tea brown with a frothy off-white head that leaves behind wispy lace. The nose features toasted malt with lesser notes of nuts and sweetbread. Medium-bodied with soft carbonation and a clean, lightly dry and mildly bitter finish. The flavor is fairly simple but pleasing, with toasted caramel malt up front and a lightly astringent and bitter hop finish. Not a bad ESB; this is a solid session beer. | 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Feb 3, 2008 From bottle : Pours a cloudy carbonated semi-dark amber color with a quarter finger of white foamy head. Nose is pretty hoppy, with a underlying smell of malt extract. Taste is malty, with little amounts of caramel working its way through to my palate. Finish is very clean, with no real aftertaste that im getting. Medium body, with a palate that dies to very bland after it first enters the mouth.
