Jan 30, 2008 Dark copper in color, with an extremely thick, white head. Fresh aroma......a slight hop scent. Malty up front, with a smooth hop taste soon after. A slightly crisp, yet clean mouthfeel. Very long, lingering hop finish.

Jan 29, 2008 Nice amber with a big lumpy head. Bready aroma. Flavor starts malty sweet and changes to hop bitter as it warms. Nice citrus tang, clean crisp finish. Good stuff.

Jan 27, 2008 Bottle from my beer club. Pours a deep amber/orange color with a nice head. Aroma is heavily malty with a bit of a chocolate characteristic. Flavor is malt and citrus hops, with a nice smoothness and barely-noticeable alcohol. Pleasant, very pleasant.

Jan 25, 2008 Pours a nice pumpkin orange color, with a well formed head. Aroma is very malty. Flavor is somewhat thin on the malts, slight hint of citrus. Finishes with a sharp alcohol bitterness, which kind of throws the balance off a bit. Still a very good beer.

Jan 22, 2008 Pour is a orange with a large white head. Aroma is earthy malts along with some hops and citrus. Flavor is sweet caramel malts with a nice hop and pine on the tounge. Finish is of course bitter. Pretty tasty and one worth looking for.

Jan 20, 2008 I found this beer a little too bitter without the payoff of flavor. It has a nice color but the hops and yeast aroma didn’t appeal to my buds. I prefer LH’s Deep Cover Brown Ale to this beer. Another beer of the month selection.

Jan 20, 2008 Draft. Pours deep amber/prange with a white head that quickly dissapates. Flavor is nice hoppy with an orange citrus background. A nice ESB.

Jan 11, 2008 Pours a nice orange-amber with bubbly head and some relatively thick lacing. Nose is somewhat citrusy, with a british style hop earthiness, some sweet toffee and baked pastry. Graham cracker biscuit starts the palate off, decent body for a bitter, more citrus hops than the style usually exhibits, nice crisp finish with lingering bitterness and slight dryness. Reminded me of fat tire, with more presence.
