Commercial Description:
Sawtooth Ale is an English style Extra Special Bitter. It is an extremely well balanced beer, with significant hop character, medium body, and a maltiness which increases in evidence as the beer warms to its "proper" drinking temperature. . The water used is quite hard, bringing it to near Burton on Trent levels, keeping it true to the style. This gives it the appropriate character and improves the malt extract significantly.

This is a great late night finishing beer. As its description says, as it warms, more flavor comes out. Leave it out of the fridge for 30 minutes or so and a distinct chocolate flavor comes out.

Amber with a thick, off-white head. Hoppy and flowery tones. Hoppy and slightly bitter taste. Medium body with a short, dry finish.

Bottle. Medium foamy head which dissipates to light. Very rich, buttery sweet aroma; not too hoppy. Decent blend of hops and malt with clean, lingering finish.

Cloudy orange color with a little bit of big-bubbled head. Very little aroma. Flavor is a little hoppy with some citrus sweetness. A little metallic aftertaste. Not bad.

Very carbonated, nice fluffy, rocky head atop a peach-amber body. Easy hop aroma, pleasant fruitiness, peach, etc., and lightly mellifluous. Easy ESB/pale ale body, minerally, fruity, nice hoppiness, moderate to light-bodied. Well structured, but restrained flavor. Nicely balanced bitter finish. A great session ESB.

This is part of a beer club. Had only one bottle but was decent for the price. Poured great and had a nice finish. Would do again.
