| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Jun 17, 2007 Bottle. Poured a clear copper with a frothy off-white head, leaving some columns of lacing. Caramel to toffee malt aroma with some orangey biscuit notes. Nice malty flavors with a minerally character and some fruity esters. Nice and balanced as advertised. Medium to full bodied but very drinkable, with fine carbonation. I found this a nice example of a full flavored session ale. Given the other ratings I think I got the lucky bottle. b33r (363), Cleveland, Ohio, USA

| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 5/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | May 25, 2007 Aroma is slightly sweet and floral, very English. Yeah, looks great, copper colored with a nice little puffy white head that laces nicely. Flavor is nicely balanced. Malty with a distinct bitter finish. Medium bodied. I mean, as far as ESB’s go, pretty good, but not the type of beer I’ll ever crave. mlist55 (210), media, Pennsylvania, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 12/20 | May 25, 2007 A little watery and thin. Lightly hopped. Not good at all when cold, attractive malt flavor begins to show when warm, but just not quite enough ooomph for me.
