The aroma is of hops, citrus and perhaps a touch of orange peel. The taste is dominated by hops with a touch of bitterness. Drinkable, but not memorable. willblake (2179), Belcamp, Maryland, USA

Bronze-amber color, clear, with beige head of tight foam that lasts and laces in sheets. Aroma is plain, a bit mineral, and toasted malts (pretzel). No significant hop character in aroma of flavor until a quick dry finish. Stuff is pretty dry front to back, actually. Nothing to write home about. MNovak (32), Woodstock, Georgia, USA

I was very impressed and would like to try other left hand beers. First thing i noticed is there is almost the perfect ballance between hops and malt but malt actually prevails a little. | 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 15/20 | Feb 19, 2007 Malt leads over the hops. I was thirsty when I drank this -- quite drinkable. Slight medicinal edge to it and finish wasn’t as good as rest. k4df4l (154), DTown, Pennsylvania, USA

Biscuit and earthy hop aroma. Sweet flavor but not cloying or sticky..clean with a good hop balance. Caramel malts and nutty flavor like a toasted victory malt followed by a nice mellow spicy hop finish. Very nicely balanced. SoLan (1426), Orlando, Florida, USA
