Aroma is slightly sour, sweeter with caramel. Flavor is much the same with that caramel sweetness, dry. Medium and light carbonation. Not all that interesting. | 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 12/20 | Apr 6, 2009 Bottle Pours a hazy golden with a good off white head. The head is airy and last okay. Has a good mixed aroma. Hops and malts seem to balance each other out. Has an oily texture. Good carbination. A pretty good mouthfeel. The flavors are very well balanced. A light body. A very drinkable beer. I like it. HighlanderOne (546), Somewherein, New Jersey, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Mar 29, 2009 Poured from bottle. I smell caramel, vanilla ice cream. Clear amber, persistent tan head. Malts beat out hops in the flavor, giving a nice creamy feel with a hop aftertaste. Will not be confused with an IPA. Low carbonation gives it a smooth feel. Finished nicely. Unique and good.
