Hazy deep amber colour. Quite smoky caramel malty aroma. Good soft mouthfeel. Smoky dry malty flavour. If you like a smoked brew then this is a good one, and I like smoked brew! Thanks Joergen!

75 cL bottle, thanks to joergen. Pours hazy and dark orange with a creamy/fizzy off-white head. Tar and dry smoked aroma. Dry malty flavour, goes into a mild smoked flavour. Ends with a smoked and light dried malty flavour.

Bottle. Hazy orange coloured with a huge off white head. Smokey aroma of bacon with notes of caramel. Sweet and smokey flavour of caramel, bacon and hops. Hoppy finish. The smoke is too dominating.

Bottle... This beer rocks!... Cloudy mahogany lager with a mid-sized, off-white head. The aroma wafts notes of dark fruits and malts. Wonderful smoke, but not overbearing. Medium to full-bodied with a lightly creamy mouthfeel and lively carbonation. Well-balanced flavor. Smoke and sweet, dark malts with only hints of bitterness. Caramel, raisins and smoked ham. Finishes smoky and bittersweet. Thanks go out to mgumby10 for sharing this bottle of world class beer!

Bottled. Hazy dark amber coloured. Very mild and pleasant meaty, swiny smoke aroma. Well balanced malty sweetness with some dryish smokiness. Medium to full bodied. Soft mouthfeel. Excellent.

I liked this better then the Smoke Jumper. More balanced smokieness, and it seemed to lend itself better to a bock, rather then a porter. The smokiness along with the sweetness of the dopplebock was a fine mix. Tasted like smoked, maple bacon. Not for everyone, but i think its tasty.

Pours a murky dark brownish maroon, with a pretty thick, well-retained beige head. Nice lacing and retention. Aroma is of campfire smoke, dark sweet malts, and dark fruits. Not overpowering smoke, the other aromas showed through nicely. The flavor had of course a good amount of smoke in it as well, but the dopplebock characters still were formidable. Sweet caramel, grapes and raisins, with smoky overtones made up its identity. Liked the balance here, I think they did a good job with this.

Slimjim! Pours a light amber with a ton of head. Aromas of smoked meat, malt, and campfire. Really sweet, smoky flavor in this one. Not my style at all.
