Commercial Description:
Thanks for purchasing another offering in our series of "Big Mo" Beers. For as long as people have inhabited Colorado's Front Range, the Twin Sisters have had a strong impact on Colorado residents. The views from atop the 11,428' peaks are breathtaking and afford sweeping views of the entirety of Rocky Mountain National Park. As an expression of admiration we have crafted an ale that exhibits a profound impact all its own. At 11428 IBU's (just kidding), Twin Sisters is a mountainous testament to hops, and that they bring. A feeling of ease and relaxation become apparent for all whom would dare to climb it. So for all that enjoy summiting ales with copious hops additions to achieve a felling of contentment and awe, we offer Twin Sisters Double IPA. Enjoy!

2008 bottle, Nice hazy orange body with a thin creamy white head, grapefruity light citrus pine hope. Taste is a bit of thin maltiness and a finish of nice spiciness in the hop finish of citrus perfume.

Bottle. Pours a cloudy light orange with a thick white head. Aroma of citrus hops and cracker malt. Flavor of light citrus fruits with a nice cracker malt base, some alcohol forwardness but this is relatively smooth compared to other IIPAs. This is a pretty good IIPA and I am very surprised by the low style percentage. Give this a try, it is better than the scores suggest.

Bottle shared at tasting. Thanks. Pours a clear orange color with light colored head. Smell is fruity, bright and orange rind like hops. Taste is hoppy, and sweet juicy orange like malt, but a bit dry and crisp in the finish. Very enjoyable and drinkable with very light alcohol coming through in the flavor.

[Bottled] Hazy orange with a small, bubbly head. Really malty and hoppy aroma. Soft and smooth mouthfeel with tropicla fruits and lodas of grassy hoppiness.

Bottled. A heavy, muffled sound when pouring. Orange colour nuances in the foam. The body is hazy, pale amber. Pretty much grapiness in aroma, along with tropical fruits, but a shady doughness a la homebrewers beer drags down the score here. Clean and prominent flavouring hops. Good and fresh. A bit doughy cookie character froom either pilsner malt or bad attenuation maybe. Thorough, balanced bitterness, without being edgy. Medium maltiness but hops talk a little more, as they should of course. Pretty nice 2IPA.

22 oz.bottle poured into a tulip glass has a light amber color and a thin white head that became a ring in the glass quickly. aroma has resinous hops, caramel malt, pine, and bitterness. mouth feel is medium with average carbonation. flavor is definitely towards the resinous and bitter end of things. pine, mid range caramel malt, and light caramel sweetness.
