Commercial Description:
Thanks for purchasing another offering in our series of "Big Mo" Beers. For as long as people have inhabited Colorado's Front Range, the Twin Sisters have had a strong impact on Colorado residents. The views from atop the 11,428' peaks are breathtaking and afford sweeping views of the entirety of Rocky Mountain National Park. As an expression of admiration we have crafted an ale that exhibits a profound impact all its own. At 11428 IBU's (just kidding), Twin Sisters is a mountainous testament to hops, and that they bring. A feeling of ease and relaxation become apparent for all whom would dare to climb it. So for all that enjoy summiting ales with copious hops additions to achieve a felling of contentment and awe, we offer Twin Sisters Double IPA. Enjoy!

Thanks to Turdferguson for sharing. Pours a soft pale hazy yellow with a one finger creamy yellow head. The nose had some earthy/herbal hop character, malty, sweet, very mild alcohol. The flavor was hoppy and bitter, malty, shows some mild alcohol, piny, mild citrus peel. Has a mildly waxy palate.

Draught. Short white and quickly disappearing head. Clear dark brown body. Mild hoppy and spicy aroma and flavor. Would have expected more hops bitterness. Low carbonation and a long aftertaste.

Rusty copper with minimal head and soapy bubbles. nose of ripe cheese rind and a touch bit waxy and a distinct hop. mouth is tart, mild pine and some stickyness. Creamy finish ... very one-note.

Pours a very light, very cloudy amber color with a very good-sized head. Perfect balance of hops and malts on the nose, emphasizing the hops. The flavor is right on line, and I can’t imagine why this doesn’t have more than an 81. Clean palate, maybe a little sticky, but a great DIPA overall.

22 oz bomber purchased at Canals Hainesport. Pours a clear orange with visible small tight bubbles and a large frothy mostly white head. Aroma on this one needs a lot more hops emphasise and less maltiness. What is detectable is lots of syrupy malts, dry grains, alcohol and in the background to them is some citrus rind hoppiness. Body is very full and syrupy with a good dose of alcohol heat before finishing rather bitter. Flavor is like a rotten fermenting orange/grapefruit, lots of alcohol and some dry musty grains. This beer is too hot, too syrupy, too malty and the hops are too faded. Twin sisters in real life, yes please...Twin Sisters from Left Hand, no thank you I like hops in my IIPAs.

Bottle from GMCC2181. Poured Goden clear with nice head. Aroma was ok, with citrus, pine hops. Flavor was sugary, and like aroma. Just an ok brew.
