Commercial Description:
Thanks for purchasing another offering in our series of "Big Mo" Beers. For as long as people have inhabited Colorado's Front Range, the Twin Sisters have had a strong impact on Colorado residents. The views from atop the 11,428' peaks are breathtaking and afford sweeping views of the entirety of Rocky Mountain National Park. As an expression of admiration we have crafted an ale that exhibits a profound impact all its own. At 11428 IBU's (just kidding), Twin Sisters is a mountainous testament to hops, and that they bring. A feeling of ease and relaxation become apparent for all whom would dare to climb it. So for all that enjoy summiting ales with copious hops additions to achieve a felling of contentment and awe, we offer Twin Sisters Double IPA. Enjoy!

Bottle - Slightly hazy orange body, big white head; Quite big nose, a bit fruity, but it has quite a bit of cork or cardboard as well; Big carbonation in a bit 1-dimensional body, bitter sweet and boring; A bit to short finish, bitter sweet, simple body and aroma.

Bottled. An unclear orange beer with a thin orange head. The aroma is sweet malty with notes of citrus. The flavor is sweet grassy, citrusy, and hoppy on an OK malt back ground, leading to a dry bitter finish.

Bottle. [Courtesy of Papsoe, shared @ Sk8viking] Average frothy off-white head that mostly diminished. Fair display of lacework. Cloudy amber color. Aroma of caramel, grain, light hoppy notes with floral, perfume, pine and citrus. Light alcoholic feel with hint of fruit and berries. Medium to full bodied with an average carbonation and light alcoholic texture. Moderated sweet flavor with light bitterness. Caramel dry finish. Surprisingly sweet and mellow Double IPA, but nice and drinkable. 07-09-2007

(Bottle 75 cl) Courtesy of Sliffy. Pours a slightly hazy amber golden with a small, yellowish head. Fat aroma of caramel and bitter hop oils. Quite full-bodied, sweetish caramel and a somewhat astringent, quinine-like bitterness. Still a fairly mellow Double IPA though. 070907
