Commercial Description:
Thanks for purchasing another offering in our series of "Big Mo" Beers. For as long as people have inhabited Colorado's Front Range, the Twin Sisters have had a strong impact on Colorado residents. The views from atop the 11,428' peaks are breathtaking and afford sweeping views of the entirety of Rocky Mountain National Park. As an expression of admiration we have crafted an ale that exhibits a profound impact all its own. At 11428 IBU's (just kidding), Twin Sisters is a mountainous testament to hops, and that they bring. A feeling of ease and relaxation become apparent for all whom would dare to climb it. So for all that enjoy summiting ales with copious hops additions to achieve a felling of contentment and awe, we offer Twin Sisters Double IPA. Enjoy!

22 oz bottle. aroma of pine and hops but mildly so. poured a hazy copper as most dipa’s will. initially the taste was hoppy with almost a dirt background which was disturbing but grew on me and eventually won me over. I could drink a few or several of these.

Pours a semi-hazy copper amber with thick white head. Aroma is mild with pine notes. Flavor is mild pine/earthy notes. Body is light with fair carbonation.

Bottle: Pale golden pour with a medium offwhite head. Tons of sticky lacing; really it’s quite striking with thick sheets. Aroma is deep with sweet citrus hops. Flavor is nicely hoppy with a sweet citrus and resiny pine medley. A bit sweet overall, but still potent with hops. Nice. Thanks Immy.

poured amber, slightly translucent, nice head that left lace throughout. nose is mellower than expected... piney. taste is lighter than expected, but well balanced. piney citrusy bitter hops with appropriate sweet caramel malt backing. finishes bitter and slightly dry. nothing overwhelming for a double IPA, but quite tasty. my kinda session beer

Flaske.

On tap at Flying Saucer. Pours a cloudy orange copper with a frothy white head. The aroma is sweet malt and cascade hops. Good sticky lacing on glass. The taste is a very sweet hop and a light bitter finish. Easy to drink and a well done IIPA from Left Hand.

This actually has a less aggressive nose and a lighter color than the Warrior IPA. The hops are bitter for sure but with a less pronounced finish than the Warrior as well. In all honesty, in a blind tasting I might call this one the regular and the Warrior the double!
