Commercial Description:
Brewed only once a year with fresh hops hand-picked in Longmont, CO and Warrior hops straight off the vine from Yakima, WA.
Warrior is brewed using a unique style called “Wet Hopping,” which requires only hops that are no more than a day from the vine. “Wet Hopping” imparts only a mild aroma, but an exceptionally fresh unfiltered hop flavor.

Pours a nice copper with meadium sized lasting head. Tightly beaded and off-white. Malty nose with some floral hints. Nice caramel malt flavor and is well-balanced by hop bitterness. Dry finish. Decent IPA, but nothing outstanding.

A rich caramel hop aroma. This has a strong bitterness to it that doesn’t diminish at any point. Very aggressive. Almost makes me think of a double IPA.

Pours a nice amber with a decent head. Aroma is citrus-pine with an underlying sweet maltiness Flavour was piney and lighter citrus with a medium bodied malty sweetness and a light, almost floral-pine bitterness to the finish.

22oz. bottle. Fresh, leafy, citric aroma, notes of orange, cedar and spice along with a lightly floral sweetness in the background. Clear medium copper color with a lasting, fine head and intricate lacing. Flavor profile features a very light, toasty sweet maltiness before delving right into the hops, bringing a piney, fruity, spicy character and an increasing amount of bitterness towards the finish, which dries out almost entirely by the end. Smooth and lightly effervescent mouthfeel, body is medium. Refreshing, also manages to avoid being too unbalanced as the hops also present a bit more of their flavor, rather than primarily contributing bitterness.

Draft at Jerry’s. Hazy light amber with big, foamy beige head / Bread & citrus nose / Medium body, lush and creamy, with good, dry finish / Muted flavors of hops, bread, burnt sugar, and grapefruit / Much more of the texture and profile of a bitter, but with this silky body, it’s terrific.
