| 4.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 10/10 | 5/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 18/20 | Jan 19, 2009 A rich caramel hop aroma. This has a strong bitterness to it that doesn’t diminish at any point. Very aggressive. Almost makes me think of a double IPA. edmajorjoe (79), Vail, Arizona, USA

| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Jan 16, 2009 22oz. bottle. Fresh, leafy, citric aroma, notes of orange, cedar and spice along with a lightly floral sweetness in the background. Clear medium copper color with a lasting, fine head and intricate lacing. Flavor profile features a very light, toasty sweet maltiness before delving right into the hops, bringing a piney, fruity, spicy character and an increasing amount of bitterness towards the finish, which dries out almost entirely by the end. Smooth and lightly effervescent mouthfeel, body is medium. Refreshing, also manages to avoid being too unbalanced as the hops also present a bit more of their flavor, rather than primarily contributing bitterness. jkwalking05 (1501), Arlington, Texas, USA

Hazy light amber with big, foamy beige head / Bread & citrus nose / Medium body, lush and creamy, with good, dry finish / Muted flavors of hops, bread, burnt sugar, and grapefruit / Much more of the texture and profile of a bitter, but with this silky body, it’s terrific.
