Commercial Description:
Brewed only once a year with fresh hops hand-picked in Longmont, CO and Warrior hops straight off the vine from Yakima, WA.
Warrior is brewed using a unique style called “Wet Hopping,” which requires only hops that are no more than a day from the vine. “Wet Hopping” imparts only a mild aroma, but an exceptionally fresh unfiltered hop flavor.

draft at barleys in greenville. pours a darker, gold/amber color with a touch of red. short, off white head lasting nicely through the glass. aroma is faint, but pleasant with fresh hops, pine, and a touch of lemon zest. flavor is dry, pleasantly bitter, with a mild hop bite, biscuity malt, and a stong malt back end. overall, a good quality beer.

Pours a brownish copper, aroma is grassy hops, grain, and sweet malt. Flavor smacks of bitter hops with a slight graininess and a dry finish.

Bottle. Pours a clear copper with a one finger off-white head that leaves good lacing. Aroma of grassy and citrus hops with sweet malt and a touch of caramel. Taste is loaded with fresh grassy and citrus hops with just the perfect amount of sweet malt and caramel to balance. Medium mouthfeel with a moderate amount of bitterness. Delicious.

Quite clear, copper orange. Well formed, white foam. Grains and hops in the aroma and Hops dominate throughout the first sip and establish residency in the throat. Citrus, coniferous tree, slight malt. Warrior has a medium body that finishes satisfyingly dry.

bottle from binnys beverage depot, orland park. good looking clear copper color, not much head, tiny off white bubbles, a trace of lacing. aroma is mostly air. amazingly bland, just a hint of flavor at all. if you struggle, you taste a bit af mildly bitter hops. medium bodied, mildly bitter finish. i rate this over 10 overall largely due to the bitter finish.

Bottle. Pours clear amber, with a one-finger, off-white head, good lacing. Smells of citrus, pine, and Colorado prairies. Medium velvety body. Deep bitter flavor, with lots of subtle undertones, pine and grapefruit, grass or hay, and other greens.

A nice IPA. Aroma was just so so. Distant grapefruit and citrus hops. Pour was a beautiful deep amber with a one finger off whiite ring for a head. Taste was nice and bitter. Strong mouth biting hoppiness throughout with a hint of maltiness in the front. The aftertaste is strong grapefruit hops. Little to no carbonation which killed this beer for me. With carbonation this beer would be in the 4s

Clear amber brown with a small soapy head that soon leaves vertical lacing on the glass. A delightful nose has more pine that I have found in a beer. Some fruit and caramel as well. First sip screamed grapefruit but the same sip soon became caramel and orange peel. Somewhere along the way it becomes bitter grapefruit again. Each sip follows this pattern. Some biscuit can be found along the way. I’m not sure about the "wet hopping" process, but there does seem to be an exceptional freshness to this beer. This is a delightful IPA. It is complex and offers some surprises.
