Commercial Description:
Brewed only once a year with fresh hops hand-picked in Longmont, CO and Warrior hops straight off the vine from Yakima, WA.
Warrior is brewed using a unique style called “Wet Hopping,” which requires only hops that are no more than a day from the vine. “Wet Hopping” imparts only a mild aroma, but an exceptionally fresh unfiltered hop flavor.

Pours a clear amber with a tanned head and some lacings. Smells of hops. Bitter and citric fruityness. Very hoppy piney aromas too. Hint of caramel. Medium bodied. Medium to low carbonation.

Draft at Hop Fest, Buckeye Beer Engine, Lakewood Ohio! Very nice, light hop aroma that left me asking "what was that?" Cool, amber color and nice floral, but not very floral, nose. A solid IPA without much to hang a hat on.

Bottle. Pours a deep amber with a 1/2 inch off white head. Sweet, full hoppy aroma. Very floral. Taste is a bit rough with its bite but gets more citrusy as it warms. Palate is bright and florally refreshing.

Bottle. Pours a nice copperish color with a small and creamy head. Aroma of pine, citric notes, flowers, grass. Taste of hay, butterscotch, grapefruit and wee hint of peach. Nice refreshing brew with lots of hops and just enough malt.

Bottle. Pours orange-amber with creamy head and high carbonation. Aroma of orange coocies, Egg white, sugar and citrus. A bit closed. Some hoppiness after a while. Soft creamy mouthfeel that dries out. Medium thick. Nice aftertaste, not too bitter. Mellow and aromatic. Biscuity. Very nice beer. It’s bitter, but nut too much. Citrusy, but not too much. Almost balanced, which may be a bit too malty for an IPA.

Bottled:
Amber coloured with a rich and creamy head. Soapy hops on the nose. Loads of resinous, soapy hops in the flavour. Long bitterness. Doesn’t break any new ground but is really tasty.

Aroma is a fresh hop scent with a mild citrus tone. Color is a slightly hazy orange brown with good carbonation and a thick tight head. Taste is citric and hoppy. Starting with a light / medium body that goes down fizzy yet smooth. Finish comes in with a very mild malt sweetness that is quickly washed away by a bold bitterness, a fair citrus and floral hop flavors. After taste is dry with the bitterness building and linger in the back of your mouth. This is a good IPA but not as special as they make it sound. I think a better example of a fresh hopped IPA is Sierra Nevada Harvest Fresh Hop Ale.

This is a really nice IPA and I really am starting to like the Warrior variety of hops. Recommended!
