Commercial Description:
Brewed only once a year with fresh hops hand-picked in Longmont, CO and Warrior hops straight off the vine from Yakima, WA.
Warrior is brewed using a unique style called “Wet Hopping,” which requires only hops that are no more than a day from the vine. “Wet Hopping” imparts only a mild aroma, but an exceptionally fresh unfiltered hop flavor.

Bottled:
Amber coloured with a rich and creamy head. Soapy hops on the nose. Loads of resinous, soapy hops in the flavour. Long bitterness. Doesn’t break any new ground but is really tasty.

Aroma is a fresh hop scent with a mild citrus tone. Color is a slightly hazy orange brown with good carbonation and a thick tight head. Taste is citric and hoppy. Starting with a light / medium body that goes down fizzy yet smooth. Finish comes in with a very mild malt sweetness that is quickly washed away by a bold bitterness, a fair citrus and floral hop flavors. After taste is dry with the bitterness building and linger in the back of your mouth. This is a good IPA but not as special as they make it sound. I think a better example of a fresh hopped IPA is Sierra Nevada Harvest Fresh Hop Ale.

This is a really nice IPA and I really am starting to like the Warrior variety of hops. Recommended!

Bottle. orange brown color. Fresh grapefruit and red berries in the aroma. Firm oily hopbitter flavor. Grassy with some grapefruit notes. Long oily hopbitter aftertaste. Fairly well balanced, in spite of the huge hopbitterness.

Bottle. A hazy orange beer with a small off-white head. The aroma is sweet with notes of oranges and hops. The flavor is sweet malty with lots of hops and a thin body. Maybe the thinness comes from the rather simple flavor.

22-ounce bottle purchased at By The Bottle in Vancouver, WA--Poured a rich copper-amber body with a handsome thick white head. Rich, floral and sweet hoppiness. Great use of the varietal. Fresh and crisp. Lots of sweet and bitter complexity in the finish. A very very nice IPA!

Not too bad. Pours a light orange with a fine head, aroma is very musty and sharp. Flavor burns nice ,with a fresh sticky hop bitterness that I crave. One dimensional but bitterness but still good.
