Commercial Description:
Brewed only once a year with fresh hops hand-picked in Longmont, CO and Warrior hops straight off the vine from Yakima, WA.
Warrior is brewed using a unique style called “Wet Hopping,” which requires only hops that are no more than a day from the vine. “Wet Hopping” imparts only a mild aroma, but an exceptionally fresh unfiltered hop flavor.

Pours copper-orange with a thin white head. Moderate citrus hop aroma. Flavor is full of juicy citrus hops, with some caramel malt backbone. The finish is slightly bitter. Very drinkable and well-balanced.

Pours nicely amber with big head that leaves lacings. First there is a hint of sweetness, caramell and citric fruity notes. Then there is bitterness, bitterness and more bitterness. It lasts for a while and is higly pleasant if you’re in the mood for it.

Pours orange/amber wit ha light off white head. Armoa is light citrus fruits, hops and a good caramel malt. Flavor was citrus hops and fruits with a good malt backing. Finishes with a bitter hop cirtus. I liked this IPA better than most I have tried so far. Thanks to whoever brought this to beer barons.

Pours a lightly hazy orange amber with a small off white head. Smells of hops, but with a big malt presence as well. Got a good dose of caramel with some grapefruit too. The flavor was more on the fruity side with the hops and citrus forming a nice combination. Nice balance to it, and a pretty easy drinking IPA. Light bitterness in the finish, but not a bad one in the aftertaste. Good IPA.

Aroma: sweetish exotic fruit such as dried apricot, mango. Lovely, slightly fiery hops. Fudgy malt. There is a vague shallotlike aroma in the background which, together with rubber and cardboard, makes it a 6 rather than a 7.
Flavour: Pretty bitter with a nice malt sweetness and somehow almost milky/sappy quality. The sweetness is mostly initial as a lovely, robust hopbody takes over pretty quickly and last long out in the finish. There is a minor roasted quality somewhere in the background as well (malt). Slightly of raisins and grapefruit. Somewhat fiery quality.
Appearance: nice, full copper orange body with lathery, very pretty head leaving thick lacings.
Palate: Fluffy, slimy and creamy. Not bad at all.

Bottle at patrick767 gathering. Small ivory head, virtually no lacing, visible carbonation, cloudy, and an orange hue. Nlose was malty, caramel, pine, citrus, and hoppy. Ditto for the flavor. Medium body. A nicely balanced IPA, worthy of a try and one that I would drink again.

Does a great job in showcasing every facet of the hop without being overpowering and obnoxious. Smooth, lightly roasted pale-biscuit malt - caramel moderatly sweetens a very floral hop character. Light pine notes with a muted oily, resinous feeling. Quite different from other Wet Hop ales I have tried - not overpowering bitterness. A very nice drink, maybe a little too thin but a solid IPA nonetheless. great bottle art to boot.
