Commercial Description:
Brewed only once a year with fresh hops hand-picked in Longmont, CO and Warrior hops straight off the vine from Yakima, WA.
Warrior is brewed using a unique style called “Wet Hopping,” which requires only hops that are no more than a day from the vine. “Wet Hopping” imparts only a mild aroma, but an exceptionally fresh unfiltered hop flavor.

bomber from green’s in atlanta. deep gold pour with a sturdy medium head with soapy lacing. aroma of citrus hops, pine, bread and spice. nice drinkable medium texture with a spike of tingly carbonation throughout. tastes are the same as the aroma - with a hint of caramel. this one is mainly just about the long burnt and tingly bitterness.

Bomber. Healthy tawney copper color and a wooly well retained head. Smells like evergreen and iron. Flavor is a well rounded combination of citrus, rye, candi, and grain, though none of these flavors dominate. It makes me think of bread. Metal tastes follow, and then bitter hoppines lingers for ages, it seems. The feel is thick, but only slightly oily with very fine dusty grit. The freshness and plenitude of locally grown hops is evident here, but not overdone. I’m pretty happy with this wet hopped IPA.

Serving: 22 oz. bottle. Appearance: Amber orange color with a foamy, off-white head. Decent head retention. Aroma: Lots of pine with some floral notes. I don’t get much on the malt side. Flavor: Pine, some citrus notes, and floral notes from the hops. Light, sweet malt notes with a touch of biscuit. Lighter in the flavor profile than I was expecting. Palate: Medium carbonation with a medium mouthfeel and a long, bitter finish. Overall: This one really didn’t wow me. It’s not a bad IPA, but it doesn’t hold up to it’s competition in the category. It isn’t a bad single hop brew though. Take it or leave it.

Brewed in the USA... Pours orange / amber in color with a thick foamy medium off white head. Aroma of hops, malts, flowers and citrus. Taste of pine, grass, malts, hops and mild spices. Mouthfeel is medium in body and finishes with a nice dry bitter bite. Overall, pretty drinkable IPA !!!

Bottle Pours a clear golden with a real good off white head. The head is froathy and lasting. Leaves a nice sticky lacing on the glass. Has a good hoppy aroma of pine, grapefruit, and some candy sweetness. Has a decent carbonation. The flavor is excellent. A subtle bitterness. Nice clean charactor. Smooth and easy to drink. Has a resiny texture with some metalic to it. The body is medium to full. A real good finish and a nice lingering aftertaste. Pretty good IPA.

Bottle. Pours a dark amber with a thin quickly disapating white head. Aroma is very hoppy with a bit of sweet malts. Notes of grass, citrus (a bit of grapefruit), and a bit of pine. On the palate, it is lighter than I expected. The flavor has a very strong hop pressence, but still a bit watered down and it finishes with a nice hoppy bitter bite. Pretty good harvest ale, but nothing really special about it.

Amber orange color with modest head. Tangy herbal taste with little aroma. Medium body. I’ve had better wet hop brews.
