Commercial Description:
Brewed only once a year with fresh hops hand-picked in Longmont, CO and Warrior hops straight off the vine from Yakima, WA.
Warrior is brewed using a unique style called “Wet Hopping,” which requires only hops that are no more than a day from the vine. “Wet Hopping” imparts only a mild aroma, but an exceptionally fresh unfiltered hop flavor.

Tap @ TJ’s Paoli. Very fresh, creamy malt, just picked hops flavor. Rather sweet malt but balanced nicely with hop flavor & bitterness. Well into medium bodied. A quality made IPA. I wouldn’t hesitate to drink this again.

Golden/amber pour with foamy off-white head. Nice lace. Caramel, sweet malt, and a hint of citrus in the nose. Nice balance. Sweet malt followed by hop bitterness. More caramel in the flavor. A little grassy, with hints of leather. Medium/full mouthfeel. Lasting bitter finish. Nice.

Pours clear amber with a nice crčme head. Looks beautiful. Nose is strong hops, of course. Thick pine qualities. Flavor is nice and hoppy, but seems more woody. It’s good. Well made. No outrageous qualities though. Feel has a nice level of carbonation and the liquid is good as well. This is a nice fresh hopped IPA. I enjoyed drinking it.

very dark amber pour with a small light cream colored head. big fresh hop smell with a small amount of pine as well. medium thickness and a little less hops than i was expecting. there is however quite a bit of carbonation and a very strong hop aftertaste.

650 ml. bomber bottle, fall 2007 release, sampled in a pint glass. L: Clear ruby orange with a substantial fluffy beige head, the head has a good deal of buoyancy from the active carbonation. A fair amount of sticky lace rings the glass. S: Tangerines, grapefruit, apricots and lemon juice, this has a nice hop fruitiness. Further whiffs reveal herbal leafs and spices, along with buttery caramel malts. F&T: Airy light moderate body with a softly firm creamy crispiness, finishing smoothly dry. Delectable sticky wet hop flavors, first is the citric juiciness and rind, finishing with an oily spruce from the Warrior hops. There are also tastes of fresh herbal leafs and stems, plus some mildly spicy bitterness. The pale malts play a supporting role to hops, adding Crystal malt sugariness and caramel to sweeten the sour citric hops. I found this seasonal IPA from Left Hand to be highly enjoyable, a pleasure to consume.

This bottled brew from a bottle shop poured a large sized head of foamy fine to large sized off-white colored bubbles that were long lasting and left behind a hazy typically carbonated dark orange brown colored body and a fair lacing. The strong aroma was hoppy. The mouth feel was tingly at the start and at the finish. The strong piny hop flavor contained notes of mild malt. A decent one that I would consider buying again.

22 oz bottle. Pours amber with a 2+ cm foamy offwhite head that is mostly diminishing. Aroma of citrus and something sweet, hint of pine. Flavor is initial balanced between sweet malts and harsh hops, and some grapefruit. Some lacing, light carbonation, light to medium body, and some hint of alcohol. Drinkable with a nice aftertaste.
