Commercial Description:
Brewed only once a year with fresh hops hand-picked in Longmont, CO and Warrior hops straight off the vine from Yakima, WA.
Warrior is brewed using a unique style called “Wet Hopping,” which requires only hops that are no more than a day from the vine. “Wet Hopping” imparts only a mild aroma, but an exceptionally fresh unfiltered hop flavor.

Bomber shared with my dad purchased at Pogos liquor in Dallas Texas. Pours orange with a nice big off white head. Nose has a big hoppy bite that I can smell from a ways away. Talste has a nice big hop bite with some bitterness riding on the rear. Overall a pretty big and bold IPA, for a fresh hop its decent, not the best harvest ale i’ve had this year and prob not the worst.

Awesome brew!!!!! Big hops on the nose, with a nice floral citrus type scent. Slightly malty with a great orange/copper color, poured with a nice head, and great lacing throughout. Highly reccomended brew. I can get this, so if you want one, lemme know!

Medium citrus and fruity aroma. Pours orange with a thin white head. Pretty bitey flavor. Herbal, tea, and some lemon bitterness rounds out the hop flavor in this one. Lingering resins. Somewhat zesty dryness. Pretty good stuff.

Bomber. Orange/copper pour with a frothy off-white head. Plenty of lacing. Leafy/floral aromas, a bit like sassafras, tea or root beer. For a wet hopped beer this seemed to have more of a bite than the rest. Fresh leafy tea-like wet hops at the front for sure, but also something of a resiny bitterness underneath as well. Pretty nice.

22 oz bomber. Pours a clear amber with a 1/2 inch off-white head. Head lingered producing much lacing. Aroma was that of pine and citrus hops. Flavor was citrus, more of lemon than anything. Mouthfeel was medium with a fresh hops wetness and a bitter finish. Decent fresh hop IPA.

Perfect amber gem in the glass with a few spots of carbonation streaming within the deep glow of color. Huge foamy capping of lightly stained yellow froth. Thick and creamy and quite lasting. Leaves some hugely thick shelves of lace across the glass. The perfect picture of what a great IPA should be. Wiff in...mmm... highly citric with a moderate punch of floating lemony pith and peel. Semi resinous with a slight smokey pineyness and smells fresh as the day the hops were picked. Quite nice. Taste is solid with a gleem of smoothness all through out the main stay of the beer, up until the finish. Starts well balanced with a rounded, simple malt backing of tender bready sweetness with a slight nudge to some toasted edgeyness. Quite clean and smooth upfront. Hops are well defined in a simple yet fairly complexing attitude of citrusy lemon and a squeezed in, high ended bitterness of hugely fresh and floral Warrior hop cone goodness. There must of been a bunch of the good Ol’ yellow stuff in each of them cones cuz this just screamed that freshness that really makes for a fresh, clean, snappy, floral bite of bitterness. The dryness is good and doesn’t get to brittle as it teeters back and forth between the floral and lemony pine. Nice! Feel is smooth and clean, about medium if not a nudge above, especially as it gets into the finish. It tends to pick up a bit of gumption and complexity as it goes into the finish. The dryness is late and very acceptable to the palate as it turns the tongue to a fluff of lemon and high floral bittering dryness. After having this numberous times over the last few weeks on-tap, and barely keeping my head straight afterwards. To be able to sit down with a bomber of this stuff is quite wonderful. Me likey this Warrior IPA. Left Hand continues to impress.

Spotted a bottle of this at Whole Foods, Raleigh, and thought: hop shortage! So yeah, it’s not a bad IPA. Crisp, hefty, and a nice dry finish with some admirable malts. But nothing too spectacular.

22 oz. bottle - pours clear copper with quickly fading white head; decent hop aromas that fall a little short in flavor; drinks crisp and clean with no aftertaste; a very basic IPA
