Commercial Description:
Brewed only once a year with fresh hops hand-picked in Longmont, CO and Warrior hops straight off the vine from Yakima, WA.
Warrior is brewed using a unique style called “Wet Hopping,” which requires only hops that are no more than a day from the vine. “Wet Hopping” imparts only a mild aroma, but an exceptionally fresh unfiltered hop flavor.

Thanks to drewbeerme for this sample. 22 oz bottle pours a clear orange with a white head. Nose is piney, grapefruity, and citrusy. Fruity citrusy piney floral flavors with a caramel backbone. Not very bitter but not sweet either. Pretty decent beer.

Dark golden in color with a two finger thick light brown/dirty white head that goes down quickly. Strong hop aroma. Dry floral taste.

22 oz bottle. Pours a clear copper with a creamy white head that retains well and laces the glass.

The aroma is spicy piney hops with some sweet sugary caramel malts and lemon in the background.

The flavor is washed out slightly sweet malts and some citrus with nice piney floral hops with decent bitterness. The mouthfeel is medium and kind of watery.

Overall, nice hop aroma and flavors, but the wateriness brings it down some. It’s still a quality IPA.

This IPA is highly filtered, crystal clear copper-colored body with a fast fading head. Great hop-filled aroma. It smells like hop-candy - hints of flowers and gentle malts. Powerful hop flavor - almost too bitter and slightly unbalanced. Very bright. Very heavy, actually. Don’t think I could drink an entire bomber of this. Interesting.

Completely clear, reddish gold beer, with a soapy, short-lived head - bracing, woody/piney, citrus-heavy hop aroma - very fresh, peppery, spicy hop flavor, with a bready, nearly buttery british maltiness running underneath it, just enough to keep it from being all hops - those hops sure are center stage, though - orange rind bitterness and slight astringency and metallic character in the finish knock off a few points for me, but this is a pretty nice "wet hop" beer.

Clear Amber pour with a big, big, poofy offwhite head that held its shape for a long while. Smell was billowing out of the glass with spicy green fresh, peppery and candy sweet hops. Fantastic aroma. Taste was very "green", fresh, and spicy hops. Nicely bitter and very nicely hopped. A touch thin body, but otherwise a fantastic fresh hopped beer and one I’d definitely recommend.

I’m not good enough to rate this beer. Typical IPA/DPA. Big floral hop and spruce aromas. Very appealing pour, clear orange with a nice head that goes rocky and doesn’t fade. Very mild carbonation. lots of hops , yet refined. Finish is somewhat like terpentine. Grapefruit bitter rind lingering finish. Good example of this style.

22-oz bottle purchased at Liquor Max in Loveland, CO. Pours a clear and sparkling amber with an average, frothy and rocky light brown head, somewhat diminishing yet leaving enough for some good sticky lacing. Aroma is average malt (straw, hay, cereal), heavy hops (flowers, pine, citrus), average yeast (sweat, soap) with notes of paper. Medium bodied, sticky texture, lively carbonation, and a bitter finish. Long, lingering duration, light sweetness, harsh acidity and bitterness.
