Good beer but not much different from other American IPA’s brewed by wonderful American craft brewers. Stood up well to spicy buffalo wings that I was eating, but is just like many others out there. Strong hop smack on the aroma and overpowering hop flavor that is not at all balanced in the overall drinking experience. I love the guys at Left Hand - I just usually find that there is little within this style to distinguish oneself. Thanks to the good folks at Cambridge Common for getting this one on draft.

Oct 30, 2007 0.65 l bottle at Oliver Twist, Stockholm. Hazy amber color. Sweetish, honeyish and hoppy aroma with notes of lemon and black currant. Bittersweet and honeyish aroma with lemony-flowery hops, minerals and notes of black currant. Chewy mouthfeel.

Oct 26, 2007 22 oz Bottle-Memphis. Poured a viscous copper-amber with a shallow head. Nose had a citrus character with a faint hint of malt. Full bodied mouthfell with a slightly tart finish. This makes it incredibly easy to drink.

Sep 13, 2007 Pours a thick, cloudy orange color into the snifter with a big creamy white head. The scent was flowery, grapefruit and hops. A nice clean taste with big hops and slightly bitter finish with the warrior hops making themselves known. A very nice IPA.

Sep 3, 2007 Aroma of pineapple, lemon, orange and malt with some hints of caramel. Golden amber color with a foamy tan head. Flavor is grass, hay, hops, with some citrus and a bitter finish. Palate is lightly creamy to slighty watery with mild carbonation. Good IPA. Not overdone or overly intense.

Sep 3, 2007 bottle shared by thedm and hotstuff - Pours hazy orange with a thin head. The aroma is mostly citrus hops. The flavor is of course strongly hopped. It’s a pretty good IPA, though I’ve had better, such as the next one I’m going to rate.

cloudy orange, thin fine beige head, nice lace, nice floral hop aroma with sweet caramel malt and a touch of citrus, creamy body, dry caramel malt well balanced with lots of moderately bitter hop flavor from beginning to end leaving a nice bitter finish, as it warms the caramel malt picks up some sweetness and seperates from the bitterness rather than blending with it, a good drinking IPA with lots of character

Aug 31, 2007 Swamp-water bottle pour. Small white head, decent lacing. Lemony aroma with other citrus notes and a resin-hop background. Strong floral, resin hop flavor and an underlying sweet citrus profile. Good stuff. Thanks to thedm and hotstuff for sharing.
