Aroma of hops, malts, flowers and citrus. Taste of pine, grass, malts, hops and mild spices. Mouthfeel is medium in body and finishes with a nice dry bitter bite. Overall, pretty drinkable IPA !!! | 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Oct 29, 2009 Bottle Pours a clear golden with a real good off white head. The head is froathy and lasting. Leaves a nice sticky lacing on the glass. Has a good hoppy aroma of pine, grapefruit, and some candy sweetness. Has a decent carbonation. The flavor is excellent. A subtle bitterness. Nice clean charactor. Smooth and easy to drink. Has a resiny texture with some metalic to it. The body is medium to full. A real good finish and a nice lingering aftertaste. Pretty good IPA. | 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 14/20 | Oct 27, 2009 Bottle. Pours a dark amber with a thin quickly disapating white head. Aroma is very hoppy with a bit of sweet malts. Notes of grass, citrus (a bit of grapefruit), and a bit of pine. On the palate, it is lighter than I expected. The flavor has a very strong hop pressence, but still a bit watered down and it finishes with a nice hoppy bitter bite. Pretty good harvest ale, but nothing really special about it. milewide (620), Grand Rapids, Michigan, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Oct 27, 2009 Amber orange color with modest head. Tangy herbal taste with little aroma. Medium body. I’ve had better wet hop brews. 13mikey (171), New Hope, Minnesota, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Oct 21, 2009 22 oz bomber from the Four Firkens. Dark orange pour with a big white fluffy head. Floral hoppy aroma with a slightly sweet touch to it. Flavor isn’t really very distinctive, I get the hopes and a bit of malt but it’s mainly bitter with the finish being bitter as well. | 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Oct 21, 2009 Super fresh bomber, new label. Great big ol’ hoppy nose, pine, grapefruit, and a little bubblegum. Solid if unspectacular. Orange-amber with a soapy beige head. Taste is bitter, dry, and resin-soaked, nothing extreme here, but some nice harshness, grassy and woody, with a very fresh, very wet hoppiness. Lightly chewy caramel and a little blueberry/red berry. Medium body with a little too much booze. Again, solid if unspectacular. mcc5468 (103), USA

Medium head with good lacing. Taste is very piney hops, maybe slightly medicinal. pretty good fresh hop IPA. Definitely on the bitter side but I would buy again. xnoxhatex (1305), Grand Rapids/Chicago, Michigan, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Oct 12, 2009 Bottle from Siciliano’s. Clear copper with medium, pancake beige head. Aroma is slight spice and pine, sulphury, sweeter caramel. Flavor is spice, pine, slightly unbalanced with the sweetness, caramel, light toast, okay. Medium, creamy body. Not bad but there are better wet hopped beers out there.
