Commercial Description:
Brewed only once a year with fresh hops hand-picked in Longmont, CO and Warrior hops straight off the vine from Yakima, WA.
Warrior is brewed using a unique style called “Wet Hopping,” which requires only hops that are no more than a day from the vine. “Wet Hopping” imparts only a mild aroma, but an exceptionally fresh unfiltered hop flavor.

This was a good IPA. Had in a 22oz bomber. Bitter and citrus. Would have to try again though.

Bomber. Pours a clear dark copper with a thin off-white head. This beer smells like I put my nose in a bag of hops! Nice pine and citrus fresh hop aroma. Medium body and moderate carbonation. The taste is lightly sweet, and dominated by the pine and citrus hops. Resinous pine finish.

22 oz bomber. Pours to a slightly hazy, burnt orange color, with a thick, rocky, white head, and a good carbonation. The nose is inviting, with fresh aromas of citrus and pine , with some sweet malty, and fruity aroma. As with most fresh hop, or "wet hop" ales, the hop aromatics are not as fragrant as dry hops. The palate is soft, with good stewed and sweet malt, paired with citrus hop flavors of grapefruit, lemon, and pine. This beer finishes with a zesty, citrus and pine hop bite that lingers. Good AIPA showcasing warrior hops, and a good fresh hop AIPA.

Had this on tap at madmex. Pours an amber light brown hue with a small head. Aroma was some citrus and pine. Flavor was very good and citrusy. I loved how the hops left a rough edge to this. Pretty good ipa.

Great orangish/coppery pour with an incredibly rocky and long-lasting head. The nose is light PNW hopping...grapefruit and pine. The flavor is bright citrusy hop bitterness, sprightly carbonation, caramel and toffee malt sweetness and a lightly lingering piney bitter bite in the finish. Very nicely done here!

On tap at Mad Mex: Deep amber color with a light tan head. Some nice lacing. Aroma, caramel notes up front, some earthy and citrus notes behind it. Flavor, caramel and some sweetness, followed by a nice earthy kick, the hops were a little one dimensional, but still solid.

Pour is a orange with a big foamy head. Aroma is a nice mix of citrus hops and a nice pine smell. Flavor is more of a malt than a hop but still kinda tasty. Not the best IPA as it dose not knock you off your seat but still pretty tasty.

Pours deep orange / bronze with a soapy tan head. The aroma has very green hops that are musty, citrusy and evergreen-ish with a good malt backing. Medium body that is fairly resiny and has a good amount of semi-sharp carbonation. The flavor starts with pale / caramel malt with musty, yet prickly pine like hoppiness. The finish gets quite woody with some soapy aspects. This is okay, but not as good as some of the other wet hopped brews out there. (8.3.6.3.15 - 3.5)

rerate notes - Aroma is similar, but more dank and green onion-ish. Taste is not nearly as musty with 2007 version and has a lot more of the nice dankness as in the aroma. Taste is similar to last year, but more crisp, but decent amount of resin. 2007 version numbers are (8.3.8.3.16 - 3.8)
