Commercial Description:
Brewed only once a year with fresh hops hand-picked in Longmont, CO and Warrior hops straight off the vine from Yakima, WA.
Warrior is brewed using a unique style called “Wet Hopping,” which requires only hops that are no more than a day from the vine. “Wet Hopping” imparts only a mild aroma, but an exceptionally fresh unfiltered hop flavor.

Bomber from Lukas. Nose is pretty nice, some stone fruit, a little dank bitterness and a light caramel. Flavor is an expolsion of caranel malt upfront, and a big citric bitterness towards the end. Honestly, the malt totally overwhelmed here, surprising for a ’wet-hopped’ beer. It’s drinkable and overall decent, but I won’t likely go back for another. Would like to try it fresh close to the release date, since there’s no date on the bottle, this one may have lost it’s hop profile.

Pour from the 750ml. bottle: Bitter hops overwhelm in a great way, spices throughout, fruity finish. A little watered down and slightly more bitter compared to other IPAs. Drinkability: One good ale. Rebuy: Yes. #130 on 06102009, DG.

A clear dark golden colored beer, with a thick foamy off white head. The aroma of hop bitters with some sweetness, fruits like citrus andd orange. There are spices in the back. The taste of bitter hops with fruits and spces which are provocating. A little sweetness in the back. The aftertaste is spicey with bitter and a little sweet.

A nice example of the sty;e with the expected dose of bitter hops & citrus, but also with an earthy and malty mix in there to round it out. Well balanced with a lingering bitter finish.

(bomber). Cloudy orange/copper color. Medium size, frothy off-white head. Earthy hop aroma. Earthy hop flavor with light grapefruit and moderate bitterness. Avg duration. Slick texture. Moderate carbonation. Excellent lacing.

22oz bottle-Pours an orange with a decent size white head. Aroma of hops, citrus, and floral. Taste of hops, citrus, and grass. This medium bodied brew was well balanced and a surprise. Good job.

Draught at Ginger Man NYC on 25th July 2009. Cloudy, hazy orange/gold with rocky white froth. Very hoppy with some delectable herby hemp notes which sharpen in the main taste climax. Slight tickly mouthfeel which I liked, settles down to a zingy texture on which a relatively long dry finish is delivered. Worthy of its higher ratings on RB.

Cool new label with a cow skull and a Native American theme going on (makes sense given the name of the brewery). The color was orange with a steady pillow of head. The smell was grassy and floral from the wet hops. The taste was not a strong flavor but still a decent wet-hopped herbal flavor. I couldn’t detect the malt backbone but this was by no means a “hop bomb”. I wish I had bought two. Serving type: bottle Reviewed on: 11-19-2007 16:11:40
