Bottle received via trade with coldbrewky. Pours clear amber with a small, fizzy, white head, somewhat lasting with fair lacing. Aroma is heavy malt (bread, hay, straw, meal), heavy hops (pine, resin), average yeast (sweat) with notes of peach. Medium bodied, sticky texture, lively carbonation, and a bitter finish. Average duration, light sweetness, moderate acidity and bitterness.

Poured from the large bottle into a pint glass to drink. The beer was a very clear, light amber color with a medium-sized white head with shorter retention. The aroma was mostly citrus and pine hops with a touch of barley and grain. It was a very bitter beer with a slightly stron grain taste. Dry throughout and afterwards, with low carbonations, and a bit of a rough feel on the palate. I expected more out of this beer and was not impressed.

On tap as usual, pours a very nice light clear copper color. Had a nice white head that quickly vanished away. Good lacing throughout due to very good carbonation keeping a little head on top. The smell to me is of a rich hoppy beer, while you also can smell the malt. Very well balanced, big hop bite and smooth finish followed by the bitter ending. Very easy to drink surprisingly for a 9% ABV. Overall a good DIPA, but I have had better. Good job Legacy

This one is a beauty. Light amber color, citrus and floral nose. TONS of flavor (not a beer to have with dinner unless it’s a plate of chili peppers). Sweet, but you have to pay really close attention to notice because it is masked by lots of hops. Grapefruit and floral. Extremely enjoyable. Will drink a lot more. You should too.

Bomber shared by beereandblues2 poured a clear reddish copper with a small lingering amber head. Aromas of carmel, pine resin, orange zest and grapefruit. Palate was medium bodied and smooth with a dry finish. Flavors of carmel, pine resin, orange zest and light grapefruit with a smooth lingering bitter finish.

Had this on tap at the Irish Pol in Philly. Came out a hazy golden color with a short lived white head. Smells of citrus fruit and hops. Taste like a summer version of an IPA. Strong citrus flavors which give way to a floral hop after taste. Not a very strong taste on any front, but over all, a nice brew.

Bottle. Hazed orange amber. Small white head. Nice lacing on the glass. Aroma is that of citrus oils, hops, herbal notes, soft grains, and tea leaves. Taste is very herbal and hoppy with citrus fruits, some medicinal notes, hops, pine, and light caramel. The body is oily but soft of light-medium to medium on the palate. Not really as chewy as expected for an Imperial IPA. There’s a lasting bitterness to this as well that borders more on aspirin than it does pure hops. The finish is more hops, citrus fruit, herbal notes, medicine and soft caramel.
