A bomb of bitter hop flavor went off in my mouth. Not really sweet, but ultra-bitter. It is a good beer, but not a whole lot of balance going on. A little malt on the back end tries to even things out, but the bitter hops win.

Good beer. Amber pour. Floral, citrus hops and malt on the nose. Flavor is malty and hoppy. Juicy hops with a good backbone of malts. Not bad. Not Pliny either!!!

A pretty good IIPA, but nothing out of this world. Aroma is a little weak. I did like the clean, crisp finish though, not sticky or bitter at all. Flavor is what you’d expect from an IIPA, if a little weak. Nice malt balance, and some notes of yeast. Pretty good.

22oz bomber from Beverage Barn in East Meadow, NY. Beer strikes a solid balance between caramel malt and hoppy flavors, and has a really attractive golden pour. Super awesome name too obviously!

(22oz. bottle) Pours a clear golden body with a rock off-white head and descent lacing. Aroma of floral, biscuit, citrus, and caramel. Flavor of hops (pine, grass, resin) and caramel malt.

Date: 10/15/2008 Source:Once Apon a Vine - Southside Orange and grapefruit hop aroma over caramelized malts. Clear orange amber with small white head. Grapefruit and citrusy hops with some caramelized malt sweetness backing. Big bitter bite. Medium body and mouth feel. Finish is sweet but big hop bite dries it out quick. Nice IIPA

bottle thanks to jeremy- pours hazy brown with an orange tint. nose is spicy, grapefruit, astringent, taste is really onsided. too hoppy without any real balance. balance people balance! it can get really annoying here, there are so many really good double ipa’s, but some just make really hopped beers, without any decent backbone. bagh.
