| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Jul 29, 2008 Healthy tan head, retention is good with nice stringy lacing. Clear, copper orange colored body, nice looker. Nose is fruity, light melon notes, peaches and underlying lightly sweet caramel malts. Body is med/full, lightly resiny and oily. Juicey, citrusy hop flavors all over this one, spicey, lightly floral, honeysuckle, peach and nectarine , just makes yer mouth water drinkin it. Malts are,nt hidden either, light, fresh caramel malts are well balanced into this very tastey hop bill. Fairly dry, fruity finish with a lasting hop bitternes to die for. One easy drinkin 9%er! Lovely brew. Thanks go out to coldbrewky for the bomber, thanks Steve!! doubleo (1121), San Diego, California, USA

Smells piney hoppy, very nice. Probably some malt in the nose as well but I like the pine. Tastes piney and astringent hoppy. A lingering hint of light sweet malts as well. A bit of orangey citrus on the finish as well, very tasty. Full body, good carbonation. lemasney (398), Trenton, New Jersey, USA

| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Jul 6, 2008 Thanks to Lem for sharing this beer on the 4th of July--Poured a sharp orange-amber body, light with a small white head. Floral, but not overpowering hops nose. Very light and smooth all the way through considering ABV. Bitter grapefruit and tropical fruit finish. Crisp and medium bodied. Really hard to believe this beer is as strong as it is. Alcohol well masked. Bitterness echoes in the finish. Boo yah! coldbrewky (738), Saugerties, New York, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Jul 6, 2008 Updated: Jul 29, 2008Bomber from the rip and run. Yesterday was my hop day. Pours a sparking amber/orange. head is small and has some nice lacing Nose is light and has a bit of hops in it but not as strong as I would expect from an IIPA, or, I was drunk since a second tasting of this was just groovy. Body is short and lacks any complexity for me, yet the second tasting revealed a well balanced medium body. mineral and tin flavors abound, but are strangly absent in the second tasting bottle leading me to believe that my tounge was shot the first day and that I may have been drunk at the time. Alcohol is pretty well hidden, Yup, second bottle confirmed
