| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Apr 15, 2008 22 oz bottle. Pours a hazy golden orangeish color. Aroma of citrus with a great deal of floral hop aroma to it. Slightly alcoholic finish to me, but a decent enough IIPA, if slightly forgettable if not for the name and label. | 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Apr 13, 2008 22oz bottle. Translucent orange with a medium sized white head. Heavy candied citrus and floral hop aromatics. Heavy vegetal bitterness up front. Tinges of sweet malt underneath piney and perfumey hop flavors. Citric hop flavors linger in the finish, with a grassy bitterness. Mouthfeel is medium, rather dry. nimbleprop (951), SouthWest, Washington, Washington DC, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Apr 13, 2008 Had this on tap at the Brickskeller. Pours a hazy gold with a frothy white head. Aroma is hoppy, heavy on the lemons. Flavor is all bitterness and hops, the light malt gives very little backing. Finish is a little sticky and bitter. I think IIPAs should have a nice, complimentary malt component to round things out. Lacking that malt, this beer was a little one dimensional for me. jcweaver (65), VA Beach, Virginia, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Apr 11, 2008 Golden in color, not remarkable. Small head, nice lacing. Loved the aroma, hoppy, grassy, yummy. I like this, but then again, am a hop-head pineypower (1109), Pine Barrens, New Jersey, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 17/20 | Apr 10, 2008 Pours out a nice golden/copper color with thing white head. Aroma is of grapefruit and some pine, hops smack you right in the face. Taste is very hoppy, grapefruit and pine dominate. Some malty notes in the background and a dry slightly alcoholic finish. I liked it. thornecb (1814), Marblehead, Massachusetts, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Apr 8, 2008 Pours medium gold into a tulip. White head recedes leaving spot lacing to skim surface. Grapefruit aromas. Crisp and smooth with upfront resin and a strange aspartame and grapefruit finish. scraff (1955), Baltimore, Maryland, USA

Mango guava aromas and notes of crushed pine needle warm to toffee malt and dried grapefruit zest tones. Immense tropical and resiny hop flavors warm to soft tangerine notes and touches of sweet malt. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, dry, warming, bitter finish. This one will take care of your hop fix no doubt… Speedle (262), Mid-Atlantic (Tour 2007-2008), Virginia, USA
