Aroma is pine hops, a little citrus, big sweet malt kick. Flavor is similar. Hops are not at the forefront, They are there, but in kind of a subdued way. The sweet malt is very forward. Nice beer, but a bit unbalanced. swoopjones (1923), Buffalo, New York, USA

Light medium body is smoothly carbonated and dry. KawaBomber (213), New Jersey, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Jul 9, 2009 22oz Bottle: Crystal clear amber w/ a small biege head. Toasty malts & piney hops blend together nicely in the aroma. Bready malts hit first followed by big, resiny hops. Bitter for sure, but not over the top. Finish is dry & grapefruity, there is also a nice earthy, spiciness going on...that pleasant warming is starting to hit, alcohol is well hidden until you fell that warmth. The name totally sucked me in...I was taken back to the babysitters house after school :-D markwise (1200), 15 Minutes from Kuhnhenn in, Florida, USA
