Strong aromas of mildly roasted malt and floral/citrus. Medium plus body with roasty malt backing. This must be fresh. Lush hop. Floral with a touch of citrus. Lots of hop. Finishes floral, malty, but nearly dry. Bitter curls around the edges of the tongue, but softly. Just excellent. Can’t even sense the alcohol. Erased by hop burn! 21iceman40 (1731), vienna, West Virginia, USA

Awesome, huge citrus vibe to it that is kind of accented with the floral. Nothing mellow here, this is full on hoppiness. I love it, it reminds me of living in san diego. Good stuff PA. | 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Feb 6, 2009 Bomber bottle. Thanks to Jabic for the hookup. Pours a bright clear orange color, decent head and lacing. Flavor is a bit of caramelized malt, a bit of biscuit, followed by a decent citrus hop wallop. Light bodied, alcohol is well hidden. | 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Feb 2, 2009 22oz bottle. Pours a bright orange with a white fluffy head. Nose is lightly hoppy with more caramel and bread notes. Flavors are caramel and sweet malt with some bready biscuit notes, the hop presence is nice and floral with some pine but is not overwhelming. Quite well balanced. Bockyhorsey (2552), Mesa, Arizona, USA

| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Jan 31, 2009 Poured from a 22-oz bottle into a pint glass a nice golden orange color with a thick head. Citrus and pine aroma with some caramel malt coming through on the nose. Spicey pine hops and grapefruit are in the taste. Felt the beer had the right amount of bitterness to go down smooth and hide the alcohol well. Hangover (771), Atlanta, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Jan 30, 2009 Awesome name. Bright orange pour with a frothy white head. Aroma is extraordinarily strong grapefruit and lemon. Nice body, little to no alcohol noted despite the high abv . Strong citrusy hop flavor with a slightly resinous, sticky finish. One dimensionally citrusy but, hey, it’s really good in that one dimension! Extremely drinkable and dangerous. blklab2007 (976), Connecticut, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Jan 25, 2009 22 oz. bottle poured a light caramel color with a thin white frothy head. aroma has resinous hops, pine, alcohol, and perfume. medium mouth feel and the flavor is heavily bitter more so from the malted side than the hops. bitter pines, light caramel sweetness, and somewhat boozy. finishes on the dry side with some bitter resins. not bad but i am not getting the citrus side others have noted so perhaps this sat a tad bit.
