Poured amber, not very dense, hoppy and earthy aroma, didnt kill the pallet like some other dipa’s. MacDaddyOJake (274), Richmond, Virginia, USA

Aroma is overwhelmingly hoppy (what did you expect!?) but never harsh. Citrusy and flowery hops dominate. Taste is similar, not as bitter as I had though after my initial whiff. Still, there is plenty of bitterness to back up the full hop profile. Great surprise, I’d love to get my hands on more! crash83 (7), Maryland, USA does not count | 4.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 5/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 19/20 | Feb 13, 2009 Bomber. Orange color, big creamy head. TONS OF HOPS! All the floral notes, citrus flavor, and bitterness that a good double IPA should have (in my opinion). My favorite Sunday afternoon football beer of 2008 and one of my all-time favorite IPA’s. millsykills (1), Brooklyn, New York, USA does not count | 4.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 5/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 18/20 | Nov 21, 2008 This one is a beauty. Light amber color, citrus and floral nose. TONS of flavor (not a beer to have with dinner unless it’s a plate of chili peppers). Sweet, but you have to pay really close attention to notice because it is masked by lots of hops. Grapefruit and floral. Extremely enjoyable. Will drink a lot more. You should too. Aroma is pretty bright, definitely herbal, a bit mineral and just a tad citrus zest. Smooth quaffable great mouthfeel. Very good flavors, surprisingly balanced and not in the least bit at all chewy. Flavors are frutier than the aromas, has killer killer killer hop profile. Not tropical fruit, a little earthy but not in a heavy way, just pure dandelion green-like hoppy goodness, one of the best IIPAs I’ve had in a while. lemasney (398), Trenton, New Jersey, USA

| 4.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 5/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Apr 12, 2007 (draft) Fluffy beige head leaves lovely lacing atop hazy apple juice body. Aroma is moderately sweet, pineapple, some grapefruit, light caramel. Taste is moderately sweet, pineapple/grapefruit, some caramel, apricot. Nice bitterness that lingers. Chewy medium body. Alcohol virtually invisible -- only the sweetness suggests what lies within. Silly name, but great beer.
