Commercial Description:
Midnight Wit is a Belgian-style white ale with a medium body and spicy, citrus overtones. The texture is silky, creamy, and refreshingly delightful. Brewed with European Pilsner malt, unmalted wheat, a blend of 5 different spices and then fermented with a classic Belgian yeast strain. Our Brewmaster learned the art of brewing tantalizing and award-winning white beers during his time in Belgium and this beer shows it.

Nice brew. Chewy body, a little bit wheaty. Cloudy yellowish colour. Taste is a bit of spice along with some citrus and a little bit of hops.

On tap at the Bocktown. Pour is light yellow and I’was possibly expecting something cloudy. Clear white foam foam head. Has a beery smell, not much like a wit. No wheat aromas that I can detect. Perhaps I notice some lemon smells in there. No bubbles rising in the brew. Initial flavor is spicy but I have trouble detecting the wheat~ very simple flavor and non~agressive. Enjoyable to say the least! I sense no bitterness in the flavors. However, this is different enough to sepaarte it in personality from the rest in this style. Finish is nice and clean. Repeatable and easy to like. A light hearted brew. I like it!

Bottle. hazy gold. Small foamy white head. Nose on this one is pretty typical but well done - spices, yeast, grains, citrus zest and candyish notes. Taste is sweet malts, lemon, spices, soft yeast, grains and candyish fruits. Body is lively and bubbly but light and crisp, just how it’s supposed to be. Finishes with a tad more bitterness than it began. More yeast and lemon here with softer malt, grains, and candyish esters. Nice!

Bottle. Pours a hazy bubbly dark yellow with a small lasting white head. Nice and spicy aroma along with Belgian yeast, citrus and sweet malt. Flavour of Belgian yeast, spices and citrus. Light bodied but alright for the style. Pretty good, I enjoyed it.

Bottle. Poured a cloudy golden body with decent size head. Aroma is of corriander and cirtus, other spices. Taste is smoth with some bitterness, spices and an odd/weak flavor to it. Got better the more I drank but overall a decent wit.

murky & uneven hazy straw color - quickly dissipating head. Aroma of bready yeast, wheat malt, pepper & coriander. Flavor is spicy and tart, with some hints of citrus, lemon, and peppery spice. Chewy yeast in the body as well.

on tap at market cross shippensburg: aroma is of belgian yeast that has slight funk. coloring was right for a wit, light yellow with tints of white when held up to the light. flavor was quite refreshing. Nice sour astringent overtones, with some citrus, and quite a bit of yeast. light palate. decent wit
