Aroma was of spice and some citrus. Nice and refreshing with some notes of spice and some citrus with a few sour notes on the finish. Not my style of beer, but not too bad. | 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jan 1, 2007 Leave Belgian style beers to the Belgians. This wasn’t terrible but far from good. The aroma was spicy and citrus all the way. The pour was a light gold color with heavy sediment. Very sour in taste. I think a few grapefruits fell into the vats for this one. Heavy carbonation rounded out the flavor. I think this beer may be a good source of vitamin C. alexanderj (2244), Chino Hills, California, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Dec 5, 2006 Bottle. Color was light gold, some cloudiness. Very visible carbonation streams. Aroma of yeast, bubblegum and spice. Easy drinking and smooth, but still tasty. Flavor much like the aroma. Average for me, but still enjoyable. RichJ7 (1175), Cullman, Alabama, USA

| 1.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 3/5 | 3/10 | 1/5 | 4/20 | Nov 22, 2006 Not a good witbier at all, very sour flavors, almost undrinkable, lots of citrus flavors but again they were way too sour & overpowering, thank goodness I only ordered a small sample of this because I don’t think I would have been able to finish an entire pint
