Jun 21, 2007 Updated: Jun 30, 2007Bottled version pours a cloudy maize with small quickly receding head. Aroma is redolent with grapefruit and lemon. This brew is tarter than most wits and elicits a mouthwatering return at each sip, but is sometimes overbearing. Not bad, but not in the top tier of Wits.

Jun 16, 2007 On Tap, at Brady’s in Southampton, PA. Pours a very pale murky yellow. Citrus and a little more bitter than Hoegaarden. Another good beer for the summer.

Jun 13, 2007 (Bottle, bottled Jan 07) Pours a hazy golden body with a medium white head. Aroma of sour grapes, grapefruit, and lemon. Light lemony wheat flavor with some sour almost gueuze-like qualities.

Jun 10, 2007 Tap. Cloudy yellow color with a thin white lace. Citrus aroma. Flavor of lemon with a slight watery taste. Finish is very plain but leaves a bit of taste on the tongue.

Jun 4, 2007 Updated: Sep 23, 2007Draft at Cooper’s in Scranton. PA. Pours a hazy golden with a dissipating white head. Very faint aroma of lemon zest and spice. Medium light texture, that is pleasantly spritzy. Initial flavor of european pale malts and lemon that quickly transitions to dominating spicy middle (clove, coriander). Sweetness is very subdued. Finish is clean and refreshing with a hint of white pepper. A solid and refreshing summer beer, and much better than I was expecting. Under rated IMO.

Jun 2, 2007 Is this the re-worked version of Pretzel City? I love the accentuated coriander which seems to mend well with the spices but halfway through I got kind of bored at Cooper’s Seafood on draft. Something seems missing as far as the finish which is wet to me.

May 28, 2007 This pours with a large, long lasting frothy white head over a clear yellow body.
Flowery clean lemon aroma.
The palate is spritzy and delivers a good spicy lemon flavor. Well done witbier.

May 26, 2007 Bottle. Hazy golden color. Aroma is that of spices. Flavor is that of wheat, lemon, and some yeast and banana flavors. Pretty refreshing, like most Belgian wheat beers.
