Commercial Description:
Midnight Wit is a Belgian-style white ale with a medium body and spicy, citrus overtones. The texture is silky, creamy, and refreshingly delightful. Brewed with European Pilsner malt, unmalted wheat, a blend of 5 different spices and then fermented with a classic Belgian yeast strain. Our Brewmaster learned the art of brewing tantalizing and award-winning white beers during his time in Belgium and this beer shows it.

Sampled with Stegosaurus and Beerded_one at Newtown Beerfest. Poured a hazy yellow. Spice and wheat aroma. Orange/Spice flavor. Thin in body for my taste but not bad.

bottle poured a hazy wheat color with a thin white head. aroma has spices, yeast, wheat, and slight citrus fruit. mouth feel is lighter but has a nice texture. flavor has spices and yeast, wheat, and light orange peel. very easy sipping with spices that are not too over the top.

Draft at brewery. Poured a hazy, medium/light straw yellow body with a merangue-like, white head. Aroma was oranges and some mild spices. Flavor started off with sweet oranges and lemons with some mild spices and a somewhat barny finish. Very nice balance. Good wit.

Not really that good. Too sweet, doesn’t have that cloudiness it should. Decent beer, but not among the best witbiers I’ve had.

Nice brew. Chewy body, a little bit wheaty. Cloudy yellowish colour. Taste is a bit of spice along with some citrus and a little bit of hops.

Tasted alongside a Walt Wit, also from eastern PA. This one held up better with a bigger mouthfeel and more of the lovely characteristics of a wheat. Syrupy and sweet, but also sour and citrusy. Cloudy and a yellow, almost orange tint.

Bottled version pours a cloudy maize with small quickly receding head. Aroma is redolent with grapefruit and lemon. This brew is tarter than most wits and elicits a mouthwatering return at each sip, but is sometimes overbearing. Not bad, but not in the top tier of Wits.

Bottle. Light yellow, not much head for a witbier. Aroma of sweet banana, a little lemon orangish. Taste was better then expected. Nice amount of spices, banana, lemon and touch of orange peel. As most witbiers its light and easy to drink.
