Commercial Description:
Midnight Wit is a Belgian-style white ale with a medium body and spicy, citrus overtones. The texture is silky, creamy, and refreshingly delightful. Brewed with European Pilsner malt, unmalted wheat, a blend of 5 different spices and then fermented with a classic Belgian yeast strain. Our Brewmaster learned the art of brewing tantalizing and award-winning white beers during his time in Belgium and this beer shows it.

Bottle. Light yellow, not much head for a witbier. Aroma of sweet banana, a little lemon orangish. Taste was better then expected. Nice amount of spices, banana, lemon and touch of orange peel. As most witbiers its light and easy to drink.

Extra from hopdog i thinl. Aroma of citrus and a lot of bananas. Poured a real light color with a white aniversary. Flavor had a light spiciness to it.

Yellow cloudy from the tap. It didn’t have much flavor especially for a wit. Just some yeasty aroma and bready flavor. Not too impressed.

Had this before the Circus Boy, and I did not think this was better. It was a good hefe, but not a great one. Pretty standard.

Is this the re-worked version of Pretzel City? I love the accentuated coriander which seems to mend well with the spices but halfway through I got kind of bored at Cooper’s Seafood on draft. Something seems missing as far as the finish which is wet to me.

Bottle Pours a yellowish gold with a decent white head. Has a decent lacing. Good citrus aroma, almost flowery. Taste is good. You can definately taste the citrus. Not much of an aftertaste. A good refreshing beer.

on tap at market cross shippensburg: aroma is of belgian yeast that has slight funk. coloring was right for a wit, light yellow with tints of white when held up to the light. flavor was quite refreshing. Nice sour astringent overtones, with some citrus, and quite a bit of yeast. light palate. decent wit

Straw-colored brew with a light head. I couldn’t figure out the drawing on the label - it looks like a cat toy or something from a science fiction story. There is a fine aroma of sweet malt, plus a little spice and citrus. The wheat flavor takes charge, with strong citrus moving in mid-swallow. Cloves are noticable as well. Some raters found it very sweet, but I disagree. This is an enjoyable light brew.
