Commercial Description:
Midnight Wit is a Belgian-style white ale with a medium body and spicy, citrus overtones. The texture is silky, creamy, and refreshingly delightful. Brewed with European Pilsner malt, unmalted wheat, a blend of 5 different spices and then fermented with a classic Belgian yeast strain. Our Brewmaster learned the art of brewing tantalizing and award-winning white beers during his time in Belgium and this beer shows it.

Bottle. Pours a hazy yellow color with a small off white head. Aroma of lemon and corriander. Has a light taste of yeast. Finishes nice and crisp. Good, mild, easy to drink Wit.

Pours a subtley cloudy gold witht just a scant white head. Whispery aroma of lemons and coriander. Quiet. Flavors do not meld well, with each flavor characteristic fighting to gain top billing as opposed to working together for the sake of the beer. Clove, coriander, wheat, orange, lemon. Could mesh better.

Not a bad beer. I had it at a beer tasting awhile ago and forgot what it tasted like. I tasted hints of banana through out. I think I will enjoy it much more when the weather gets warmer

Bottle. Big soapy white head. Nose of lemons and a bit of yeast. Tastes like a light lemonade with a tough of yeast and spice. Refreshing summer beer, just not much body or complexity.

Draft, Baja Bean, Staunton VA. Pale straw color with white head. Big nose of fresh lemon citrus and some mild hay aromas. Flavor is a bright, sharp lemon, not too sweet, and balanced nicely by some spice and mild maltiness. Clean finish, if not a bit too clean-- lacking in body throughout, especially in the finish. Just not as full and creamy as, say, Allagash. Darned refreshing though, this is a good beer.

Belgian style witbier by the boys from Reading. Well, nice attempt but not a real clutch hitter. Fizzy and not much yeast and hop bitterness and citrus zest. Kinda disappears in the back of throat. Light bodied beer - and I mean light. Nice though in the heat.
