Nose on this one is pretty typical but well done - spices, yeast, grains, citrus zest and candyish notes. Taste is sweet malts, lemon, spices, soft yeast, grains and candyish fruits. Body is lively and bubbly but light and crisp, just how it’s supposed to be. Finishes with a tad more bitterness than it began. More yeast and lemon here with softer malt, grains, and candyish esters. Nice! WeeHeavySD (3041), San Diego (Hillcrest), California, USA

Bottle: Smelled of newsprint, cardboard, a bit of clove and spices, and a touch of pine hops. Poured golden in color with a medium white head that diminished very quickly. No lacing. Lightly sparkling. Hazy. Flavor is medium to heavily sweet. Tastes of spices, with a lot of clove and a fair amount of yeast. Light to medium body. Tingly texture. Average carbonation. Sweet clove finish. Overall, too sweet. puzzl (2648), New York, New York, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | May 12, 2007 First wit I’ve had in a rather long while, and not a good one to come back with. Pours an almost alarmingly neon yellow with little head to speak of. General carbonation is alright, though. Taste is pisslike wheat, overly lemony (but bad lemon), hint of garbage (note: I can’t actually say that with a straight face). This is, uh, not that good. maniac (2628), Richmond, Virginia, USA

| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | May 5, 2007 Bottle: Pale straw in color, somewhat milky in its hues, very hazy, thin fizzly white head that dies quickly, spotty lacing.
Zesty citrus based nose, typical Witbier aroma, good.   Soft tartness on first sip.   Citrusy at first, becoming slightly yeasty
towards the finish.   Sweetness is mild to moderate.   Spices are fairly well placed, not too light either.   Clean finish, some
zest remains.   Moderate body and mouthfeel.   Decent little Witbier.   Thanks Steve for the freebie!

| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jan 11, 2008 Slightly cloudy golden coloured body with striking yellow/white highlights and a very thin white head. Very nice in appearance! Aroma of coriander seed, curacao, wheat and yeast - exactly what you’d expect from a wit! Light-bodied; Sharp coriander seed freshness mixed with a lot of wheat up front. Aftertaste cuts through with lemons, curacao and pine. Overall, a very nice wit - pretty true to the way it should be made. I think this was better than the average review and would sample this again in the midst of summer on the East Coast. I sampled this twelve ounce bottle purchased from Oliver’s Beverage in Albany, New York on 11-January-2008. kmweaver (2484), Sebastopol, California, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Aug 21, 2006 12 oz. bottle. Light yellow-straw color, slight head. Definite wit-beer character in the nose, coriander showing most prominently. Tight carbonation, nice crisp, simple profile. Spice shows strongly; malt backbone is seemingly resigned - very light finish. While perhaps a bit unbalanced, it makes it more drinkable, which isn’t a detraction here. Very reasonable wit beer.
