Commercial Description:
Midnight Wit is a Belgian-style white ale with a medium body and spicy, citrus overtones. The texture is silky, creamy, and refreshingly delightful. Brewed with European Pilsner malt, unmalted wheat, a blend of 5 different spices and then fermented with a classic Belgian yeast strain. Our Brewmaster learned the art of brewing tantalizing and award-winning white beers during his time in Belgium and this beer shows it.

Light in color with a decent wheaty aroma. Classic "Wit" style - smooth, sweet, citrusy, refreshing, but a bit weak. Needs a bit more oomph to it. Also not good to have immediately after a Nor’easter.

Bottle. Poured a cloudy golden body with decent size head. Aroma is of corriander and cirtus, other spices. Taste is smoth with some bitterness, spices and an odd/weak flavor to it. Got better the more I drank but overall a decent wit.

Pint served on tap at the HDG. a Wit heavy on the spice aspects of this style but low on the other positive aspects of this beer. Color is very clear yellow - looks like a bud lite. Low on taste.

Not a good witbier at all, very sour flavors, almost undrinkable, lots of citrus flavors but again they were way too sour & overpowering, thank goodness I only ordered a small sample of this because I don’t think I would have been able to finish an entire pint

Bottle. Hazy golden pour with only small clusters of bubbles on top. Aroma is a little doughy, actually for some reason I smell peanuts, and of course the standard citrus. Flavor is lots of lemon and wheat character. Not too bad.

Decent witbier. A bit more grainy and less yeasty than most witbiers I have had. Nice level of spice, not overpowering but noticeable. Light citrus acidity. Not a fantastic beer, but quite pleasant drinking when it’s hot outside.

Aroma very strong spices and belgain candy sugar. Very sweet malts, corainder, orange peel. Body very chewy and taste is very sweet. Some spices come through but is dominated by the cloying sweetness. A bit heavy on the tongue.

12 oz bottle sampled from drewbeerme. Hay yellow in color with a thin head. Aroma is witlike citrus lemon yeast spice. Light bodied almost watery with citrus flavors, corriander, banana, and grain. Not too much goin on. Silky, creamy and refreshingly delightful? Not really. The essence of pure pleasure? I wouldn’t say that either. Its not very tasty, but not horrible either.
