Commercial Description:
Midnight Wit is a Belgian-style white ale with a medium body and spicy, citrus overtones. The texture is silky, creamy, and refreshingly delightful. Brewed with European Pilsner malt, unmalted wheat, a blend of 5 different spices and then fermented with a classic Belgian yeast strain. Our Brewmaster learned the art of brewing tantalizing and award-winning white beers during his time in Belgium and this beer shows it.

Pint served on tap at the HDG. a Wit heavy on the spice aspects of this style but low on the other positive aspects of this beer. Color is very clear yellow - looks like a bud lite. Low on taste.

Pours a clear golden color with a very thin white head. Sour wheaty aroma with some citrus. Flavor is decent: slightly sour malt, citrus tang. Nothing overwhelming about it, but good.

Sticking with the wit kick, cloudy like orange juice, off orange almost rancid color, tasted similar, good with a slice of orange to cut the off bitterness tang. Not the best, but unique.

Pale & hazy gold pour. White head and thin spotty lace. Spice and citrus on the nose. Overly floral flavor with a definite twist citrus and spice.

IT HAD A FLOWERED AROMA WITH A CLOUDED BLONDE COLOR. A VARIED CITRUS FLAVOR. A MEDIUM RANGE BEER BETTER THAN MOST.

Nice citrusy smooth wit beer. The smell of this beer is very unique with hints of orange/lemon citrus. The palate is very smooth, I wouldnt say silky and creamy like the description states. The taste if ver refreshing, you can really smell and taste the spices in every sip.

Bottle... Murky straw-colored ale with a small, fizzy, white head. Smoky nose with lemon, coriander and under ripe banana notes. Flavor matches the nose. Good balance. Light-bodied with a creamy mouthfeel and lots of fruit and spice. Fizzy carbonation. Short, crisp, spicy finish. One of my least favorite styles. Thanks to kmweaver for sharing the bottle!

[Draft @ Capone’s] Poured a cloudy golden color with a small, white head that left light lacing on the glass. Aroma of grains, citrus, orange peel, and coriander. Taste of pils malt, cereal, wheat, toffee, citrus, and light orange peel.
