Commercial Description:
Midnight Wit is a Belgian-style white ale with a medium body and spicy, citrus overtones. The texture is silky, creamy, and refreshingly delightful. Brewed with European Pilsner malt, unmalted wheat, a blend of 5 different spices and then fermented with a classic Belgian yeast strain. Our Brewmaster learned the art of brewing tantalizing and award-winning white beers during his time in Belgium and this beer shows it.

Decent witbier. A bit more grainy and less yeasty than most witbiers I have had. Nice level of spice, not overpowering but noticeable. Light citrus acidity. Not a fantastic beer, but quite pleasant drinking when it’s hot outside.

Top of bottle has a coating...lets call this spooge...cloudy golden with a delicate off white head....very pretty orange-yellow....smells like orange and subtle clove...zingy on the palate, fresh but with a lingering aftertaste...creamy and refreshing all at once....simple yet fulfilling...nice lacing

12 oz. bottle. Light yellow-straw color, slight head. Definite wit-beer character in the nose, coriander showing most prominently. Tight carbonation, nice crisp, simple profile. Spice shows strongly; malt backbone is seemingly resigned - very light finish. While perhaps a bit unbalanced, it makes it more drinkable, which isn’t a detraction here. Very reasonable wit beer.

Bottle. Hazy golden color with a frothy white head. Tart wheaty aroma with citrus, dusty yeast and coriander. Nice balance of sweet and tart. Wheat and lightly sweet malts with orange and grapefruit zestiness in the back, along with some coriander. Smooth bodied with fine carbonation. Surprisingly decent domestic Wit from the supermarket fridge. Surely would be better tasting in the summer.

12oz bottle. Pours a cloudy pale yellow with about a one finger head of fluffy white foam. The aroma is yeasty and doughy with spice and citrus. Tastes of coriander, lightly toasted grains, wheat, sweet spiciness, and a hint of citrus.

Bottle. Color was light gold, some cloudiness. Very visible carbonation streams. Aroma of yeast, bubblegum and spice. Easy drinking and smooth, but still tasty. Flavor much like the aroma. Average for me, but still enjoyable.

On Tap, at Brady’s in Southampton, PA. Pours a very pale murky yellow. Citrus and a little more bitter than Hoegaarden. Another good beer for the summer.
